A resin snap cagecomprises a resin-made circular main part, a plurality of pocketsprovided in one axial end face of the circular main part, and a circular reinforcing memberinstalled concentrically at the other end face in an axial direction of the circular main part. While this reinforcing memberis circular along the circular main part, a sectional shape in a plane parallel to an axial direction is a rectangle. The reinforcing memberis embedded in a recessed portion formed at the other end face in an axial direction of the circular main partto be integrated, an outside diameter surface, an inside diameter surface, and a pocket-side surfaceof the reinforcing memberare covered with the circular main part, and a surfacethereof opposite to the pocket side is exposed. This resin snap cageis produced by insert molding where the reinforcing memberis made as an insert, and the circular main partand the reinforcing memberare integrated at the time of the insert molding.

Resin cage and rolling bearing

A hub unit including a hub and a flange integrally formed with the hub, and a seal including a core metal and an elastic body integrally molded with the core metal. The elastic body includes one or more lips in sliding contact with one or both of the hub and the flange. The elastic body includes a molded rubber, wherein the molded rubber contains, as a raw rubber, acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber having an acrylonitrile monomer content of from 26 to 36% by weight. In a first embodiment, the hub unit includes a hub adapted for receiving a shaft and a flange integrally formed with the hub, and the seal is attached to an outer circumference of the hub unit. In a second embodiment, the hub unit includes an inner ring having a raceway surface for receiving rolling elements and an outer ring. The seal seals the space between the inner ring and the outer ring. Furthermore, the seal includes a radial lip in sliding contact with an outer circumferential surface of the hub.

A rolling bearing with shield plate comprises an outer ring having an outer ring raceway and a circumferential anchor groove, the anchor groove provided at an axial end portion separated from the outer ring raceway and having an outside facing side surface, an inner ring having an inner ring raceway, a plurality of rolling members between the outer ring raceway and the inner ring raceway, and a shield plate in a generally circular ring shape provided with an inside facing, radially outer portion and an outer peripheral edge portion which is anchored in the anchor groove of the outer ring, the shield plate having an elastic seal member attached generally circumferentially and radially inner than the outer peripheral edge portion of the shield plate, such that the seal member is elastically held between the shield plate and the anchor groove.

A rolling bearing with seal plate for transmission comprising: an inner race that has an inner ring raceway around its outer peripheral surface in the middle in the axial direction; an outer race that has an outer ring raceway around its inner peripheral surface in the middle in the axial direction; a plurality of rolling bodies that are located between the inner ring raceway and the outer ring raceway such that they rotate freely; and a seal plate that is made of synthetic resin and has one of the peripheral edges attached to part of one of the inner race and outer race, and the other of the peripheral edges made to come in sliding contact with a cylindrical surface of the other of the inner race and outer race therearound in parallel to the central axis thereof.

An outside surface of the fitting groove tilts at 5 to 30 degrees with respect to an radial direction of the bearing. The present invention provides a lubricant-feeding material which can be used at a temperature as high as from 100&deg; C. to 120&deg; C., exhibits an excellent mechanical strength and stably maintains a lubricating oil having a high polarity such as ester oil and polyphenylether oil, which have excellent lubricating properties or heat resistance, or a grease comprising such a lubricating oil as a base oil in a large amount. The lubricant-feeding material comprises a polyester elastomer comprising a hard component made of a first polyester and a soft component made of a second polyester or polyether solidified containing a lubricating oil compatible with the polyester elastomer or a grease comprising the lubricating oil as a base oil, the lubricating oil oozing from the surface of the polyester elastomer.

A rubber composition containing a tetrafluoroethylene-propylene bipolymer and from 0.02 to 10 parts by weight of a liquid polybutadiene per 100 parts by weight of the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene bipolymer and a rubber sealing device in which the rubber composition is joined to a reinforcing member are described, by which long-life rubber sealing devices which are highly tolerant to liquids containing amine-based additives, for example, soluble-type synthetic cutting coolants and engine oils suitable for high-speed processing and can sustain favorable sealing performance over a long period of time and rubber compositions appropriate therefor are provided.

Rubber composition and rubber sealing device

A sealing device equipped with a lip made of a rubber material composition wherein the rubber material composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a tetrafluoroethylene-propylene copolymer and 0.02 to 10 parts by weight of an ethylene-propylene-based copolymer is described, by which a long life sealing device that is not deteriorated even when used under an environment where chemicals such as a cutting lubricant containing an additive adversely affecting rubbers contact the sealing device is provided.

A rolling bearing comprising an outer ring having an outer raceway formed on the inner surface thereof, an inner ring having an inner raceway formed on the outer surface thereof, a plurality of rolling elements rollably provided between the outer ring and the inner ring, and a sealing member for sealing the axial opening of the space between the inner surface of the outer ring and the outer surface of the inner ring in which said rolling elements are provided, characterized in that the sealing member is formed by an elastic member made of a vulcanizable rubber composition obtained by blending a carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber with at least carbon black.

Rolling bearing

A linear guide apparatus includes a slider, a guide rail opposing the slider with a clearance provided therebetween, a plurality of rolling elements which are rotatably interposed there between, and a contact seal device for sealing an opening of the clearance. A side seal member of the contact seal device is made of a rubber material composition containing fluoro rubber. The rubber basically comprises at least one of copolymers that are vinylidenefluoride-tetrafluoroethylene-polypropylene terpolymer and tetrafluoroethylene-polypropylene copolymer.

Bearing apparatus

As a grease to be enclosed in the portion in which a rolling bearing is installed, there is used a urea-based grease. An elastic material constituting a sealing plate is made of a vulcanizable fluororubber composition containing a vinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene-propylene terpolymer or tetrafluoroethylene-propylene bipolymer.

The present invention provides a seal for rolling bearings having improved sealing properties, undergoing no separation between a core and a peripheral portion nor deformation even in long-term use. The seal comprises a flexible resin portion which comes into contact with an outer race and a rigid resin portion which is more rigid than the flexible resin portion, the rigid resin portion and the flexible resin portion being fusion bonded together into an integral body.
