There are provided a component for a timepiece, a movement, and a timepiece having excellent lubricating oil holding performance. There is provided a component for a timepiece including a sliding surface having a surface tension of 10 to 35 mN/m. It is preferable that when lubricating oil having a surface tension of 25 to 35 mN/m is applied to the sliding surface, an interfacial tension between the sliding surface and the lubricating oil is 0 to 7 mN/m.

Comparing the frequency with the frequency from the transmission circuit, the variation of the frequency is detected. Based on these values, blood flow rate 'v' can be determined. In such manner, an apparatus for assessing the risk of cerebrovascular diseases with fewer burdens to persons to be examined and with simple measurement units can be provided.

A blood rheology measurement device measures a blood rheology of blood flowing through an artery inside of a living body from outside of the living body. The blood rheology measurement device has a sensor that detects a flow rate of blood flowing through the artery and a pulsatile displacement that varies with an elapse of time. The pulsatile displacement corresponds to a displacement of the artery in a diameter direction thereof due to expansion and contraction of the artery resulting from a pulsatile motion of the heart. A calculating section calculates the blood rheology of blood flowing through the artery on the basis of the blood flow rate and the pulsatile displacement detected by the sensor.

To provide an improved solderability for mounting an electronic component onto a circuit board, a package of an electronic component () is formed by bonding together a base () made of glass and a lid (). Outer electrodes () and () are formed on a bottom surface of the base (), and the outer electrodes () and () are respectively connected to through electrodes () and (). The outer electrodes () and () each have a laminated structure of three CrAu layers, that is, from a Cr layer (first layer) to an Au layer (sixth layer). When the outer electrodes () and () are soldered onto a circuit board, the Au layers as the second, fourth, and sixth layers are dissolved into solder, whereas the Cr layers as the third and fifth layers, which hardly form an intermetallic compound with solder, are separated to remain in solder.

A blood rheology measuring apparatus has a measuring portion for measuring a flow velocity of the blood flowing in a blood vessel of a person in a mode of a Doppler shift signal by transmitting and receiving a wave to and from a surface of the person's skin. An information processing portion calculates an intensity at each of frequency components of the Doppler shift signal, extracts a maximum frequency in a signal at an intensity level equal to or larger than a threshold in the histogram or a maximum frequency when an integrated value from a low frequency component reaches a predetermined rate of a total thereof in the histogram, and provides a temporal change waveform of the extracted frequency. The blood rheology is analyzed by an area value of a portion at and above a line connecting a minimum value of one pulse waveform and a minimum value of a successive pulse waveform of the frequency waveform.

A blood viscosity measurement device has a flow rate calculating section that calculates a flow rate of blood flowing through a blood vessel of a living body. An inner diameter calculating section calculates an inner diameter of the blood vessel. A blood pressure data acquiring device acquires blood pressure data corresponding to a blood pressure of the blood vessel. A viscosity calculating section calculates a viscosity of the blood flowing through the blood vessel using each of the calculated flow rate, the calculated inner diameter, and the acquired blood pressure data.

A blood rheology measurement device and a blood rheology measurement method which detect a fingerprint or a vein to thereby measure a positional relation between an artery in a living body and a sensor on the same conditions for each subject during non-invasive measurement and which correctly evaluate a change of blood rheology with elapse of time. A vein pattern or a fingerprint pattern peculiar to a subject is detected, recognized, and stored, a position of a sensor is adjusted so that the detected vein pattern or fingerprint pattern agrees with the stored vein pattern or fingerprint pattern every measurement, and a blood rheology index value indicating blood fluidity (fluidity/viscosity) is measured.

There is provided a pulse detecting device which resists fluctuations in the quality by locating an ultrasound transmitting piezoelectric element and an ultrasound receiving piezoelectric element with high precision. In the pulse detecting device, a detection sensitivity of the pulse is improved. A transmitting piezoelectric element and a receiving piezoelectric element are fixed onto a substrate by electrodes. The transmitting piezoelectric element is excited in response to an inputted drive voltage signal to generate an ultrasound and transmits the generated ultrasound to a living body. The receiving piezoelectric element receives an echo produced by reflecting the ultrasound transmitted into the living body by a blood flow of the living body and converts it into a voltage signal. A processing arithmetic unit compares the frequency of the ultrasound generated by the transmitting piezoelectric element with that of the echo received in the receiving piezoelectric element to thereby detect a pulse.

In a method of calculating circulation dynamics of a living body, a resistance component corresponding to a shape of a blood vessel in the living body is derived using previously obtained values of viscosity, pressure and flow rate of blood flowing in the blood vessel.
