A mount adapter couples a camera body and an interchangeable lens without rattling. The mount adapter includes a fixed cylinder and a movable cylinder that engages with the fixed cylinder and is movable in an optical axis direction with respect to the fixed cylinder. The fixed cylinder has a first mount surface that comes into contact with the camera body and a second mount surface that comes into contact with the interchangeable lens. The movable cylinder has first mount claw portions that engage with mount claw portions of the camera body and second mount claw portions that engage with mount claw portions of the interchangeable lens.

Adapter apparatus and image pickup apparatus

An image pickup apparatus that is capable of dissipating heat generated by an image pickup device efficiently, even when a small image pickup device that has electrode pads on almost all the back face is used. The image pickup apparatus has a lens assembly. An image pickup device photoelectrically converts subject light that is incident on the lens assembly. The image pickup device is implemented at one side of a device substrate. A heat dissipation section that dissipates heat generated by the image pickup device is provided at the other side of the device substrate. A heat dissipation sheet is thermally connected to the heat dissipation section at one end, and is thermally connected to an exterior of an apparatus body at the other end.

Image pickup apparatus having decreased thickness in the vertical direction

A video reproducing apparatus that allows a user to visually identify a video component taken at a frame rate that is different from the normal frame rate on a time sequence bar. A reproduction unit reproduces a video image in which video components taken at different frame rates are mixed and to display the video image on a display unit. A display control unit displays a sequence bar on the display unit. The display control unit controls so that a ratio of the length of a section indicating a second video component to its taking time is larger than a ratio of the length of a section indicating a first video component to its taking time, when the video image includes the first and second video components taken at first and second (higher) frame rates, respectively, and when the sections are indicated on the sequence bar.

An image pickup apparatus which is capable of fixing an image pickup device compactly and with high strength. A wiring substrate has an image pickup device mounted thereon. A fixing member is fixed on the image pickup device. The fixing member is provided with an abutment surface that comes into abutment with the image pickup device, an opening from which a light-incident surface of the image pickup device is exposed, and a wall portion that faces a side surface of the image pickup device. An adhesive is filled in a space formed between the side surface of the image pickup device and the wall portion.

Image pickup apparatus having image pickup device

An image pickup apparatus which is capable of protecting a flexible wiring plate during assembly of the image pickup apparatus, thus improving the ease of assembly and realizing cost reduction due to a decrease in the number of components. A cover member has an opening exposing an image display surface of the display which has a folded flexible wiring plate and covers the rear side of the image pickup apparatus main body. A tripod base member is disposed on a bottom and has an abutting portion and a guide portion. A folded portion of the flexible wiring plate comes into abutment with the abutting portion and covered with the tripod base member. The guide portion guides a leading end portion of the cover member on mounted on the image pickup apparatus main body, and hence the leading end portion of the cover member does not contact with the folded portion.

An image pickup apparatus which has a small-sized removable handle unit easy to be handled and removed and prevents breakage of electrical contacts. The handle unit includes a handle-side connector having a handle-side connector terminal section, rear handle fixing members for mounting the handle unit to the main unit, a connector fixing plate for mounting the handle-side connector to the handle unit, and resilient members interposed between the handle-side connector and the connector fixing plate. The main unit includes a main unit-side connector having a second terminal section and a main unit-side fixing portion to which the rear handle fixing members are affixed. The handle-side connector and the main unit-side connector are connected such that the first terminal section and the second terminal section are electrically connected in a state of the rear handle fixing members being affixed to the main unit-side fixing portion.
