A vibration device includes an internal vibration body to amplify a vibration, a piezoelectric element connected to one end of the internal vibration body, and a light transmission body connected to an another end of the internal vibration body. The vibration device further includes an external vibration body including a first connection portion connected to the light transmission body and a second connection portion extending outward of the light transmission body from the first connection portion to attenuate the vibration.

Vibration device and imaging device

A vibration device includes a cover glass including an inclined surface defined by a chamfered outer peripheral edge of the cover glass, a vibration body bonded to the cover glass with an adhesive and causing the cover glass to vibrate, and a retainer bonded to the cover glass with an adhesive and fixed to the vibration body and that is in contact with the inclined surface of the cover glass so as to support an outer peripheral edge of the cover glass.

Vibration device and vibration control method

A vibration device includes a tubular vibration body, a retainer fixed to the vibration body, and a light transmissive body to be vibrated by the vibration body and held between the vibration body and the retainer. The light transmissive body includes a first surface and a second surface opposed to the first surface. The vibration body includes one end supporting the first surface of the light transmissive body. The retainer includes a side wall including a first end and a second end surrounding an outer circumference of the light transmissive body, and a supporting portion extending inwardly with respect to the side wall from the first end of the side wall. The retainer is fixed to the vibration body at a portion in contact with the vibration body on a side of the second end. The supporting portion includes a supporting surface on a side of the second surface of the light transmissive body to support the second surface of the light transmissive body.

A vibration device includes a tubular body with a cavity, a first opening end surface, and a second opening end surface, a piezoelectric device joined to the first opening end surface, and a translucent cover joined to the second opening end surface. The tubular body and the piezoelectric device are joined to each other with a first adhesive layer, and the tubular body and the translucent cover are joined to each other with a second adhesive layer.

A vibration device includes a light transmissive body, a first cylindrical body, a plate-shaped spring portion, a second cylindrical body, and a vibrating body. The light transmissive body includes a main body portion on an inner side of a portion supported by the first cylindrical body, and a protruding portion extending from the main body portion toward an outer circumference of the light transmissive body and protruding outward more than a portion supported by the first cylindrical body. A ratio between an equivalent mass calculated from a moment of inertia of the protruding portion and a weight of the main body portion is about 0.8 to about 1.2, and a resonant frequency of the light transmissive body is larger than a resonant frequency of the spring portion.
