A personal watercraft including a body including a hull and a deck covering the hull from above, an engine room formed in an interior of the body, an engine hood mounted over an opening that is formed on the deck to be located at an upper region of the engine room, the engine hood being configured to open and close the opening, and a tool case mounting portion mounted on a wall surface of the engine hood which faces the engine room, the tool case mounting portion being configured to hold a tool case that accommodates a tool kit for the watercraft.

A mounting portion of a water jet pump of a personal watercraft is disclosed. The mounting portion typically includes a tubular pump casing configured to accommodate the impeller, and a pump bracket configured to fasten the pump casing to the body of the watercraft. The pump casing is configured to be mountable to the pump bracket in such a manner that an internal fitting portion of the pump casing is internally fitted to a casing receiving portion of the pump bracket from rearward with a ring-shaped seal element fitted into a groove provided on the pump casing, and an outer peripheral surface of the internal fitting portion and an inner peripheral surface of the casing receiving portion are sealed by the seal element.

A steering device of a small watercraft is disclosed. The device includes a steering column oriented substantially in the vertical direction, wherein the steering column includes an upper component and a lower component, the components being coupled together so as to be movable relative to each other in the longitudinal direction thereof, and a fastening device configured to lock the relative movement of the components. One of the components includes an elongated hole which penetrates in the left-and-right direction and is elongated in the vertical direction. The other component includes a protrusion extended in the left-and-right direction so as to be accommodated in the elongated hole and to be guided by the hole in the vertical direction. The components each include a contact surface having a plurality of teeth arranged in the vertical direction, and engage with each other in the front-and-rear direction by engaging the teeth.
