A small swivel type working vehicle includes a running device (), a swivel base () mounted on the running device () to be swivelable about a vertical swivel axis (X), a driver's seat () mounted on the swivel base (), a control box () mounted upright on a top surface of the swivel base () forwardly of the driver's seat (), a swing bracket () supported to be swingable about a vertical pivotal axis () by a flange unit () provided at a front end of the swivel base (), a boom () attached to the swing bracket to be swingable about a horizontal shaft (), and a boom cylinder () connected at one end thereof to the swing bracket () and at the other end to the boom () for swinging the boom (). The boom cylinder () is disposed outside the boom () to extend along a rear surface thereof. A walk-through space () is defined between the control box () and the driver's seat (). A distance (L) from the swivel axis (X) of the swivel base () to the vertical pivotal axis () is substantially the same as a distance (L) from the swivel axis (X) to a rear end of the swivel base().

Small swivel type working vehicle

A hydraulic piping structure for controlling a boom assembly supported through a swing bracket by a swivel deck of a backhoe. The piping structure includes a plurality of hydraulic hoses for supplying oil from a pressure source mounted on the swivel deck to hydrauylic cylinders for controlling a boom and other components of the boom assembly. These hoses are arranged parallel on an upper face of the boom, with hoses connected to a boom cylinder being curved on a vertical plane. The parallel boses extend to the swivel deck through an interior space of the swing bracket and are fixed in position by a clamp mechanism therein. On the swivel deck, these hoses are separated into two batches and fixed in position by further clamp mechanisms, respectively.

Hydraulic piping structure for a backhoe

A backhoe vehicle comprising an upper carriage including a driver's section and swivellable 360 degrees on a chassis, and an excavating assembly including a boom, a bucket arm and a bucket. The boom defines a first and a second bent portions so that a distal end of the boom is inclined in a direction in which the boom is lowered. An excavating assembly holder is attached to a front region of the upper carriage and adjacent a transversely mid-position of the vehicle to be pivotable on a vertical axis. The boom is connected to the holder to be pivotable on a horizontal rotary shaft. A boom cylinder for causing pivotal movements of the excavating assembly is connected at one end to the boom and at the other end selectively to a first and a second pivot members defined on the holder. The second pivot member is disposed at a lower rearward position with respect to the first pivot member. The first bent portion is defined substantially at a longitudinally mid-position of the boom, and the second bent portion is defined between the first bent portion and the rotary shaft. A distance between the rotary shaft and the second bent portion is substantially equal to a distance between the rotary shaft and the first pivot member.
