Provided is an electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article which has an excellent shielding property and absorbency of electromagnetic waves of specific frequencies. The electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article includes a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and carbon fibers. The carbon fibers have a weighted average fiber length in the molded article in a range from 0.05 to 8.0 mm, and the content ratio of the carbon fibers in the molded article is from 0.05 to 45 mass %. The electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article has a thickness from 0.01 mm to 5 mm, a shielding property of 10 dB or greater and an absorbency of 5% or greater for electromagnetic waves having any frequency in a frequency domain from 59 GHz to 100 GHz.

Electromagnetic wave shielding molded article

A variable capacity turbocharger includes a turbine impeller, a gas inlet passage fluidly coupled to the turbine impeller, a nozzle vane located in the gas inlet passage, a drive assembly that rotates the nozzle vane, a drive chamber accommodating the drive assembly and including a region configured to store liquid in the drive chamber, and a liquid passage fluidly coupled with the drive chamber and configured to discharge the liquid from the drive chamber. A surface of the liquid passage has a greater surface roughness than the region of the drive chamber.

Variable capacity turbocharger

A variable capacity turbocharger includes a housing, a turbine impeller at least partially located in the housing, a scroll flow path located in the housing and encircling the turbine impeller, a first nozzle ring and a second nozzle ring facing each other in the housing, a nozzle flow path located between the first nozzle ring and the second nozzle ring and fluidly coupling the scroll flow path to the turbine impeller, a gap formed between the first nozzle ring and the housing, and a bearing hole located in the first nozzle ring and including an opening adjacent to the gap. The gap is located on an opposite side of the first nozzle ring to the nozzle flow path. Additionally, the gap is connected to the scroll flow path.

A variable capacity turbocharger includes a variable nozzle unit having a shroud-side ring in which a first bearing hole is provided, a hub-side ring in which a second bearing hole is provided, a nozzle flow path formed between the shroud-side ring and the hub-side ring, and a nozzle vane disposed in the nozzle flow path and supported by both the first bearing hole and the second bearing hole. A turbine housing having a scroll flow path is connected to the nozzle flow path, in which the first bearing hole penetrates the shroud-side ring and communicates with the scroll flow path through a gap between the shroud-side ring and the turbine housing. Additionally, an opening of the first bearing hole on the gap side is smaller than an opening of the first bearing hole on the nozzle flow path side.

Provided is an electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article which has excellent shielding properties and absorbency for electromagnetic waves having a specific frequency. The electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article includes a thermoplastic resin composition including stainless steel fibers, and the content ratio of the stainless steel fibers in the molded article is from 0.5 to 20 mass %. The electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article has a thickness from 0.5 mm to 5 mm, and a shielding property of 10 dB or greater and an absorbency of 25% or greater for electromagnetic waves having any frequency in a frequency domain from 59 GHz to 100 GHz.

Electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article

A turbocharger includes a turbine housing configured to accommodate a turbine wheel provided at one end of a rotation shaft, a bearing housing joined to the turbine housing and in which a bearing for supporting the rotation shaft is provided; and a variable nozzle unit that is disposed between the turbine housing and the bearing housing. The variable nozzle unit includes a nozzle ring disposed around a rotation axis of the rotation shaft and a support ring provided adjacent to the nozzle ring that includes an outer peripheral portion partially in contact with the turbine housing. One or more non-contact portions are formed in the outer peripheral portion of the support ring and do not contact the turbine housing.

Turbocharger

A turbocharger includes: a nozzle drive mechanism for driving a plurality of nozzle vanes; and a support ring for holding the nozzle drive mechanism, the support ring having a main body portion having a heat shielding portion facing a turbine impeller in a direction of a rotational axis of the turbine impeller.

Provided is a turbocharger, including: a separation wall surface, which is a wall surface of a bearing housing on a turbine impeller side, is positioned on an inner side with respect to an outer periphery of a back surface of the turbine impeller on the bearing housing side in a radial direction of a shaft, and is separated from the back surface in an axial direction of the shaft; and a heat-shielding plate, including: a main body portion (separation portion), which is separated from the separation wall surface in the axial direction, and is positioned between the back surface of the turbine impeller and the separation wall surface; and an insertion through hole (insertion portion), which receives a fastening member inserted thereinto in a direction of intersecting the axial direction of the shaft, the heat-shielding plate being mounted to the bearing housing by the fastening member.

A variable geometry system turbocharger includes an annular heat shield plate which shields heat from a turbine wheel side. The heat shield plate is integrally provided at a central part of a side surface of a bearing housing opposed to a back surface of a turbine disk. A first seal ring is provided between an inner peripheral surface of a first nozzle ring and an outer peripheral surface of the heat shield plate. A second seal ring is provided between an inner peripheral surface of a second nozzle ring and an outer peripheral surface of a protrusion of a turbine housing.

Variable geometry system turbocharger

A second nozzle shaft of each variable nozzle has an outer diameter smaller than that of a first nozzle shaft. The first nozzle shaft is integrally formed on a first side surface of each variable nozzle. A portion is provided on a second side surface of each variable nozzle. The portion encloses the second nozzle shaft, and can contact a second nozzle ring. An inner nozzle flange and an outer nozzle flange which can contact a first nozzle ring are integrally formed on base sides of the first nozzle shaft on a blade surface and a blade surface of each variable nozzle, respectively.

Variable nozzle unit and variable geometry system turbocharger

A bottom surface of a housing recess of a turbine housing includes a close attachment portion in a continuous annular land shape, which is located radially outside a fitting recess. The close attachment portion is closely attached to a portion radially outside first support holes in a surface of a shroud ring opposite from its facing surface, by a fastening force of attachment bolts. The first support holes in the shroud ring communicate with an outlet side of a turbine impeller through a connection path and a cutout.

Three or more attachment pins are arranged on a right lateral surface of a nozzle ring at intervals. All the attachment pins are placed outside support holes in the nozzle ring in radial directions of the nozzle ring. A guide ring is provided across right lateral surfaces of the attachment pins. A first side guide member to support a right lateral surface of a drive ring in away that allows the right lateral surface to be in sliding contact therewith is provided to the right of the guide ring. A second side guide member to support a left lateral surface of the drive ring in a way that allows the left lateral surface to be in sliding contact therewith is provided to the left of the guide ring.
