Provided is a chemical heat storage apparatus that includes a reactor that exchanges heat with a heating object and includes a reaction material generating heat via chemical reaction with a reaction medium, the reaction medium being desorbed from the reaction material when heat is given, a reservoir storing the reaction medium, a reaction medium flow system allowing the reaction medium to flow between the reactor and the reservoir, a heat generation control unit controlling the reaction medium flow system, and an exhaust gas utilization unit desorbing the reaction medium from the reaction material via heat of exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine and heating the heating object via the heat of the exhaust gas when a temperature of the exhaust gas reaches a predetermined temperature or more.

Chemical heat storage apparatus

A chemical heat storage device includes a reactor which has a heat storage material which generates heat by a chemical reaction with a reactive medium and desorbs the reactive medium by heat absorption, and a receptacle which houses the heat storage material therein; a reservoir which stores the reactive medium; a connecting pipe through which the reactor and the reservoir communicate with each other and the reactive medium is allowed to flow between the reactor and the reservoir, wherein the reactive medium is ammonia, the receptacle is made of a metallic material (for example, stainless steel), and at least a portion of an inner surface of the receptacle which comes into contact with the ammonia is formed with a nickel layer containing 90% nickel by mass or more.

Chemical heat storage device

A bidirectional DC-AC inverter is disclosed. The DC-AC inverter includes an H bridge circuit, a connecting portion connected to the H bridge circuit, a smoothing filter that connects the connecting portion to the H bridge circuit, and a control section. The H bridge circuit has four switching elements. The four switching elements include two first switching elements first ends of which are connected to each other and two second switching elements second ends of which are connected to each other. The smoothing filter has a capacitor and two coils connected to the capacitor. The control section controls the first switching elements in such a manner that the two coils function as booster coils when an alternating voltage input from a system power supply is converted to a direct current voltage.

Bidirectional DC/AC inverter

A switching power supply includes a sensor for detecting that the output level of the switching power supply has exceeded a rated output level, and a memory that stores data for estimating temperature change of a heat-producing component during a period in which the output level is higher than the rated output level. The data is differentiation data of a curve that represents temperature change characteristics of the heat-producing component. An estimated temperature of the heat-producing component is computed based on the time elapsed from when the output level of the switching power supply exceeds the rated output level and the differentiation data. When the estimated temperature of the heat-producing component reaches an upper threshold temperature, a switching element is deactivated.
