A power tool includes a motor, a spindle, an inner housing, an outer housing formed by an upper member and a lower member, a pair of interposing members and a pair of elastic members. The interposing members are arranged leftward and rightward of the inner housing, respectively, and fixedly connected to a first member, which is one of the upper member and the lower member, and at least partially in contact with an inner surface of the first member. The elastic members are held between a left portion of the inner housing and one of the interposing members and between a right portion of the inner housing and the other of the interposing members, respectively. A first end portion of each of the interposing members has at least one first surface extending to be closer to the inner housing toward a tip end of the first end portion.

Power tool

A power tool includes a spindle, a housing, a cover body configured to be removably mounted to the housing, a first engagement part provided on or in the cover body, and a second engagement part provided on or in the housing. The cover body includes an upper plate part and an outer peripheral part. The second engagement part is movable between an engagement position and a disengagement position. The first and second engagement parts are configured to restrict rotation of the cover body around the drive axis relative to the housing by engaging with each other. The first engagement part is (i) at a same location as or radially outward of the outer peripheral part of the cover body in a radial direction orthogonal to the drive axis, and (ii) between an upper end and a lower end of the cover body in the up-down direction.

A dust collecting attachment removably attachable to a power tool that includes a housing and a spindle: a covering part formed such that a drive axis of a spindle passes through the inside of a suction hole in the attached state of the power tool and at least partially covers a periphery of the tool mounting part; a discharging part connected to the covering part and configured to discharge dust from the inside of the covering part; and at least one elastically deformable engagement piece connected to the covering part and having a claw configured to engage with the housing at a predetermined position of the housing.

Dust collecting attachment and power tool

An electric power tool disclosed herein may include a motor; a power transmission mechanism connected to the motor; a housing that houses the motor and the power transmission mechanism; a tip tool holder connected to the power transmission mechanism; a cover covering the tip tool holder partially; a first locking mechanism configured to switch between a first locking state and a first unlocked state; and a second locking mechanism configured to switch between a second locking state and a second unlocked state. In the electric power tool, the cover may become detachable from the housing when the user performs the second unlocking operation on the second locking mechanism and the first unlocking operation on the first locking mechanism.

Electric power tool

A hand-held tool, such as a disc grinder, is used to perform work at a high work site, a countermeasure is taken to prevent the hand-held tool from falling by using a suspension tool, such as a tether strap. If a coupling part that couples the suspension tool to the hand-held tool is damaged, this fact is notified to a user. Thereby, an original function of the suspension tool can be reliably performed. If a large impact is applied to a coupling member via a suspension tool, the coupling member is displaced to a second position, due to the deformation of a first position retaining member. A conductive portion disengages from contacts to cause a power circuit to be shut off, thereby prohibiting a main body part from being activated.

Hand-held tool

A power tool includes a spindle, holding members each having a claw, a biasing member, and a locking member. The holding members are movable between a first position, in which the holding members fixedly hold a tool accessory against a tool mounting part of the spindle with the claws pressed against the tool accessory owing to a biasing force of the biasing member, and a second position, in which the holding members do not impede or block attachment or detachment of the tool accessory. The locking member is configured to move between a locking position, in which the locking member abut on the claws of the holding members to hold the holding members in the second position, and an unlocking position, in which the locking member does not impede or block the holding members from moving from the second position to the first position.

A power tool (), such as a multi-tool, includes: a motor () extending in a front-rear direction; a motor housing () that houses the motor (); a head housing () held forward of the motor housing (); and an output shaft () protruding downward from the head housing (). The head housing () may be made of a resin. In addition or in the alternative, the head housing () includes a lower-head housing case () screw fastened to an upper-head housing cover (). In addition or in the alternative, the motor housing has a two-halved structure in which two half housings () are screw fastened together.

Portable power tool

A power tool includes a motor, a housing, a battery mounting part, and a battery protection part. The battery mounting part is provided to the housing on an opposite side from a working axis across the motor in an extending direction of a rotation axis of the motor. The battery mounting part is configured such that one end portion of at least one battery is mounted to the battery mounting part and an opposite end portion of the at least one battery in the extending direction of the rotation axis is exposed from the housing. The battery protection part is provided to an outer surface portion of the housing and configured to protect at least one corner region of the opposite end portion of the at least one battery against external force when the one end portion is mounted to the battery mounting part.

A grinder () includes a motor (), a housing (), a spindle (), a first cover (), and a second cover (). The spindle protrudes downward from the housing, is driven by the motor, and thereby rotates. The first cover is provided in the circumferential direction of the spindle, is fixed to the housing, and at least partially covers a tool accessory (), which is mounted on the spindle, from above. The second cover is detachably mounted on the housing () independently of the first cover.
