A hybrid drive device has a clutch connecting and disconnecting an output shaft and an input shaft, a first motor generator that rotates in conjunction with the rotation of the input shaft, an allowable clutch heat generation amount calculation portion that calculates the allowable clutch heat generation amount, an allowable differential clutch rotation speed calculation portion which calculates the allowable differential clutch rotation speed for when engagement starts, on the basis of the allowable clutch heat generation amount, and a motor generator rotation control portion that controls the rotation speed of the first motor generator such that the differential clutch rotation speed when engagement starts and during engagement is no more than the allowable differential clutch rotation speed when engagement starts.

Hybrid drive device

A hybrid drive device in which an input shaft is connected to an engine, an output shaft is connected to wheels, and a wheel drive motor is connected between the input shaft and the output shaft. In the hybrid device, a friction engagement element that is provided between the input shaft and the output shaft and of which transfer torque is controllable. A control device controls the friction engagement element. The control device reduces the transfer torque of the friction engagement element during engine starting in a predetermined low temperature environment or during travel on a bad road, compared to the transfer torque of the friction engagement element in an engaged state.

A hybrid driving apparatus includes an engine configured to output a rotation driving force to an output shaft; an input shaft configured to rotate in association with rotation of driving wheels of a vehicle; a clutch that is provided between the output shaft and the input shaft to disengageably connect the output shaft and the input shaft; a clutch actuator configured to operate the clutch; a motor generator configured to rotate in association with rotation of the input shaft; a rust formation determining unit configured to determine whether there is a possibility of a rust formation on the clutch; and a rust formation suppressing unit configured to operate the clutch actuator in a case where the rust formation determining unit determines that there is the possibility of the rust formation on the clutch.

Hybrid driving apparatus

A vehicle drive device having an input member coupled to an internal combustion engine; an output member coupled to a wheel; a first rotating electrical machine; a second rotating electrical machine; and a differential gear unit having at least three rotating elements. A dog engagement device is provided on a power transmission path between the input member and an input rotating element. The engagement device includes a state selecting member that switches a state among three states, which are a first state where the input rotating element and the input member are coupled and the input rotating element and a non-rotating member are not coupled, a second state where the input rotating element coupled with both the input member and the non-rotating member, and a third state where the input rotating element and the non-rotating member are coupled.

Vehicle drive device

A vehicle parking lock device having a parking rod; a tapered parking cam disposed at a leading end portion of the parking rod; and a cam guiding device that guides the parking cam moved together with the parking rod in association with a projection of the parking rod toward the leading end portion to move a parking lock pole with the parking cam to a position of engagement with a parking lock gear rotated together with a transmission output member, the cam guiding device including a first guiding member in a cylindrical shape and a second guiding member in a half cylindrical shape that is disposed subsequently to the first guiding member, the second guiding member having a tapered guiding concave surface that guides the parking cam toward the parking lock pole in association with the projection of the parking rod toward the leading end portion.

Vehicle parking lock device

A vehicle power transmission device having a structure with a carrier of a planetary gear device brought into spline fitting with a case that is a non-rotating member to stop rotating and a ring gear of the planetary gear device rotatably supported by the case via a bearing, is provided with a play reducing device that presses the carrier against the case to reduce a play in thrust direction formed between the carrier and the case.

Vehicle power transmission device

A drive device includes a rotating electrical machine; a control device that controls the rotating electrical machine; and a case that accommodates the rotating electrical machine and the control device. The case includes a machine chamber that accommodates the rotating electrical machine, and an electric chamber that accommodates the control device. The machine chamber and the electric chamber are separated from each other by a partition wall, and a connection member that electrically connects the rotating electrical machine and the control device to each other is provided so as to extend through the partition wall in a fluid-tight state. Each of the machine chamber and the electric chamber has an opening on one axial end side of the rotating electrical machine, and a cover that covers the openings in a separated state from each other is mounted to the openings.

Control device arrangement for hybrid vehicle electric motors

A drive unit includes a rotating electrical machine; a rotation sensor that detects a rotational position of a rotor of the rotating electrical machine, and a storage medium. In an inspecting step of measuring a counter electromotive force by mechanically driving the rotating electrical machine after the rotating electrical machine and the rotation sensor are assembled together, positional error information of the rotation sensor obtained based on information of the counter electromotive force and output information from the rotation sensor is stored in the storage medium. The storage medium is integrally provided to the drive unit in such a state that the storage medium is readable upon assembling a control device that controls the rotating electrical machine.

Drive unit and manufacturing method thereof

First and second connection mechanisms electrically connect power cables extending in the same direction to first and second electric motor neighboring to each other in the extending direction of the power cables, respectively. The first connection mechanism of the first electric motor is arranged in a radially outer portion, and the second connection mechanism of the second electric motor is arranged in a space between the electric motors. Since both the connection mechanisms are located on the opposite sides of a joint surface between the first and second casings accommodating the first and second motors, respectively, the first and second connection mechanisms can be components on the first and second casing sides, respectively. This structure can prevent increase in size in a rotation axis direction, and can improve assembly workability for the motors.

Motor module

A drive device includes an input shaft connected to an engine; a first rotating electrical machine and a second rotating electrical machine; a differential gear unit including a first rotating element, a second rotating element, and a third rotating element; and a control device. The first rotating electrical machine and the differential gear unit are positioned coaxially with the input shaft. The first rotating electrical machine and the second rotating electrical machine are positioned on different axes from each other so as to axially overlap each other. A first component of the control device is positioned lower than the first rotating electrical machine and positioned so that at least a part of the first component overlaps the first rotating electrical machine when viewed in a vertical top plan view.
