The present disclosure enables a user to recognize an entire display image even appropriately visually in a case where a superimposing position of a display image with respect to an image of the outside world is changed. A wearable display device according to an embodiment includes: a mounting unit () configured to be mounted on a head of a user; an optical unit () configured to emit light for forming a display image to eyeballs of the user; and a rotation mechanism (or) configured to rotatably attach the optical unit to the mounting unit, in which the rotation mechanism rotates the optical unit around a virtual axis passing through both of the eyeballs of the user.

A head-mounted display according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a main body, a nose pad, and a holding mechanism. The main body includes a display portion capable of presenting an image to a user and is configured to be mountable on a head of the user. The nose pad is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the main body. The holding mechanism is configured to be capable of holding correction glasses between the main body and the nose pad mounted to the main body, the correction glasses facing the display portion.

A wearable display includes a first optical section, a main body, and a jig receiver. The first optical section emits light. The main body includes a second optical section that is connected to the first optical section and outwardly emits the light as image light, and a casing that supports the second optical section. A wearable display includes a first optical section, a main body, and a jig receiver. The first optical section is configured to emit light. The main body includes a second optical section that is connected to the first optical section and capable of outwardly emitting the light as image light, and a casing that supports the second optical section.
