An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image by receiving light of a plurality of colors, to generate image data; a controller that controls the image sensor; and an adjuster that adjusts a light reception rate, in each position on an incident surface, the light reception rate allowing the image sensor to receive the light color by color, the incident surface being entered by the light corresponding to an image represented by the image data. The controller controls the adjuster to render the light reception rate of a specific first color in a position corresponding to part of the image on the incident surface different from the light reception rate of a first color in other positions, and causes the image sensor to capture the image with the light reception rate of the first color rendered different by the adjuster, generating image data representing the image.

Imaging apparatus

An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor generating original image data; an image processor performing image processing to generate image data; a storage storing a plurality of first parameter sets and at least one second parameter set; and a user interface receiving a user operation combining a first parameter set with a second parameter set. Each of the plurality of first parameter sets defines the effect in the image processing. Each of the at least one second parameter set defines a correspondence before and after color information in an image is converted. Based on the user operation, the image processor: adjusts an image indicated by the original image data, using the first parameter set included in the combination designated by the user operation; and converts color information included in the image adjusted by the first parameter set, using the second parameter set included in the designated combination.

An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image to generate image data; an output interface that outputs information to a user; and a controller that controls the output interface, based on recording data and the image data generated by the image sensor, the recording data recording information on a first moving image, wherein the controller causes the output interface to output shooting assist information during shooting of a second moving image with the image sensor, the shooting assist information assisting the user to match the second moving image with the first moving image.

Imaging apparatus and information presentation system

An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image by receiving incident light, to generate image data; a controller that controls an image shooting operation using the image sensor; a recorder that records the image data as a result of the image shooting operation; and an adjuster that adjusts a light reception rate in each position on an incident surface, the light reception rate allowing the image sensor to receive the light, the incident surface being entered by the light corresponding to an image represented by the image data. The controller controls the adjuster to render the light reception rate in a position corresponding to part of the image on the incident surface different from the light reception rate in another position thereon, and causes the image sensor to capture the image with the light reception rate rendered different by the adjuster in the image shooting operation.

The imaging device includes a camera body and an interchangeable lens unit detachably attached to the camera body, the imaging device including, an optical system including a focus lens, an infinite rotation type focus ring, a lens drive part moving the focus lens forward and backward in an optical axis direction of the optical system, a setting part allowing a user to set a rotation range of the focus ring, a storage part assigning and storing respective different rotation amounts of the focus ring to multiple positions within a movement stroke of the focus lens in accordance with a rotation range set in the setting part, and a control part driving the lens drive part to move the focus lens depending on a rotation amount of the focus ring to a position corresponding to the rotation amount stored in the storage part.

Imaging device and camera body

An imaging apparatus comprises: an imager that captures an image of a subject to generate image data; a first detector that detects a face region corresponding to a face of the subject in the image data; a second detector that detects a subject region corresponding to at least a part of the subject in the image data; and a controller that controls exposure based on metering for the image data, wherein the controller performs, when the face region is detected by the first detector, exposure compensation according to metering in the detected face region, and continues the exposure compensation according to the metering in the detected face region, when the detected face region is lost by the first detector and the subject region corresponding to the subject of the detected face region is detected by the second detector.

An image capturing device on which an interchangeable lens is mountable, the interchangeable lens including an optical axis direction position adjustment lens and an operation member to drive the optical axis direction position adjustment lens. The image capturing device includes an acquisition unit that acquires an operation instruction made by a user, and a controller that controls operation of the image capturing device. The controller has a manual mode in which a position of the optical axis direction position adjustment lens is adjusted in accordance with operation of the operation member and an automatic mode. The controller sets a lock function enabled or disabled in accordance with the operation instruction acquired by the acquisition unit, the lock function being configured to prevent the optical axis direction position adjustment lens from being driven even when the user operates the operation member in the manual mode.
