An intake port is configured such that a center position of an intake upstream side opening is offset to one side in a juxtaposition direction of intake downstream side openings with respect to a center position between the intake downstream side openings in the juxtaposition direction as viewed in plan of a cylinder head. An injector is configured such that a fuel injection center axial line is inclined to the other side in the juxtaposition direction with respect to a center axial line of the intake upstream side opening as viewed in plan of the cylinder head.

Internal combustion engine

An exhaust port formed on one side portion of an engine body along the vehicle width direction, the exhaust port connected to an exhaust muffler arranged in an extending manner in the vehicle width direction along a rear edge of the vehicle body frame by way of an exhaust pipe passage means that introduces an exhaust gas from the exhaust port. The exhaust pipe passage means is arranged in an extending manner in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle while having a bent portion bent toward the center in the vehicle width direction from one side of the engine body in the vehicle width direction behind the engine body, as viewed in a plan view.

Exhaust system mounting structure for vehicle

A driver's seat and a passenger's seat integrally formed as a bench seat elongated in a vehicle width direction together with an intermediate connecting portion, which connects the driver's seat and the passenger's seat. An upper end portion of a seat support frame configured to be erected above a footrest surface and constitute a part of a vehicle body frame formed along one plane. A fuel tank and canister arranged in a separated manner in the vehicle width direction below the bench seat supported on the upper end portion of the seat support frame.

Evaporated fuel treatment device for vehicle

A fuel tank assembly includes a fuel tank disposed substantially along a seat rail in a space surrounded by a lower portion of a seat and the seat rail of a motorcycle, and a fuel pump unit disposed in a lower portion of the fuel tank. A mounting flange for mounting the fuel pump unit to the fuel tank is arranged below the seat rail and forward of a front end of a rear wheel of the motorcycle as viewed in a side view of the motorcycle. The mounting flange of the fuel pump unit is disposed above a side frame of a body frame of the motorcycle. Such fuel tank assembly provides the degree of freedom of seat layout, and does not interfere with a rear wheel of motorcycle, or gravel or the like thrown up by the rear wheel, during operation the motorcycle.

Fuel tank assembly for motorcycle, and motorcycle incorporating same

An air cleaner device includes an air cleaner case having a case main unit and a cover. An intake duct is disposed on the cover, and an intake path is disposed on the case main unit. An air cleaner element is formed in a position biased on a side of the cover relative to fastening surfaces of the case main unit and the cover. The cover and the air cleaner element are integrally removable relative to the case main unit.

Air cleaner device

A four-wheeled vehicle is provided which increases and secures the volume of an air cleaner while avoiding increase in the number of components and reducing the influence of the air cleaner on other components. The vehicle is equipped with a driver seat and a passenger seat arranged on a vehicle body frame side by side in the vehicle width direction, and is equipped with an engine disposed on the vehicle body frame substantially at the center in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. An air cleaner, constituting a part of an intake device of the engine and formed in an elongated shape in the vehicle width direction, is disposed between the driver seat and the passenger seat.

Four-wheeled vehicle

A vehicle fuel tank assembly is provided with a fuel tank and a fuel pump unit. The fuel tank is mounted on a saddle-riding type vehicle. The fuel tank has a flat shape elongated in the front-to-rear direction. The fuel pump unit includes a main body, a support body extending from the upper part of the main body in the longitudinal direction of the fuel tank, and a fuel level gauge supported and extending on the support body. The fuel level gauge includes a fuel level gauge body, a float arm pivotally supported by the gauge body, and a float on the free end of the float arm. The float arm extends in the longitudinal direction of the fuel tank and takes a highest swing position in an intermediate level of the height of the fuel tank. The fuel tank assembly enables fuel level detection in a wide range.

Fuel tank assembly of vehicle

An air cleaner device can include an air cleaner case including a case main unit and a cover. An intake duct can be disposed on the cover, and an intake path can be disposed on the case main unit. An air cleaner element can be accommodated in the air cleaner case. When the air cleaner device is mounted in a vehicle and viewed from a vehicle side, the air cleaner case is formed to be vertically long. The intake duct is formed to have an upstream-side opening portion thereof oriented toward a first side of the air cleaner case, and a downstream-side opening portion thereof can be oriented downwardly. The intake path is formed to have an upstream-side opening portion thereof oriented upwardly to face the downstream-side opening portion of the intake duct, and a downstream-side opening portion thereof is oriented toward a second side of the air cleaner case.

An internal combustion engine for a vehicle can include a crankcase, and a supercharger disposed behind the crankcase in a front-to-rear direction of the vehicle body. A throttle body and an intercooler are connected in the front-to-rear direction, to an intake passage of the engine. The intake passage extends a rearward from a cylinder head, and the cylinder head protrudes substantially upward from the crankcase. The throttle body and the intercooler are connected in this order, in the front-to-rear direction.
