There is provided a disk cartridge including a case body in which a plurality of disk-shaped recording media are configured to be able to be received in an axial direction of a central shaft in parallel, and a first shell having a base surface section parallel to a recording surface of the disk-shaped recording medium and a second shell having a basal surface section parallel to the recording surface of the disk-shaped recording medium are coupled and separated through separation and connection in the axial direction, and a presser spring having a section to be attached, which is attached to the case body, and a pressing section configured to come in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the disk-shaped recording medium and to press the disk-shaped recording medium. The presser spring is formed of a resin material.

Disk cartridge for storing disk-shaped recording media

A magnetic tape cartridge includes a cartridge case, a pair of cylindrical hubs rotatably provided in the cartridge case, and a magnetic tape laid between the hubs and wound around outer peripheries of the hubs. Each of the hubs has an inner diameter portion provided with a height-position determining member. The height-position determining member determines a height position of the hub in the magnetic tape cartridge by contacting a driving shaft inserted in the hub when the magnetic tape cartridge is mounted in a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus.

A tape cartridge that has a clamp force to a block body and that secures a leader tape to a leader block is provided. Nail portions () formed on the outer surface sides of a pair of leg portions () of a clamper (') are secured to securing grooves () formed on side walls of a assembling concave portion () of a block body () to secure the block body () and the clamper (&#x2032;). At this point, with concave grooves () and a reinforcement rib () formed on an inner surface side of a base portion () that composes the clamper (&#x2032;) in the elongation direction of the leg portionsand. Thus, when the clamper (&#x2032;) is pushed, it can be prevented from being damaged and a desired clamp force can be obtained.

Tape cartridge

A tape reel in which molding quality of a flange unit is improved so as to improve reliability at the time when a magnetic tape runs at high speed, and a tape cartridge having the same. A plurality of reference planes () formed between a chucking gear () and an outer peripheral rib () formed at an outer peripheral side of this chucking gear () are provided separately from the outer peripheral rib (). And the reference plane () is formed with edge planes of each of a first rib () extending toward a circumference and a second rib () extending toward a direction crossing the first rib (). According to this arrangement, a volume at a portion constituting the reference plane () is made smaller, occurrence of a sink after a resin is hardened is suppressed, and molding quality of the flange unit () is improved so that straight runnability of the magnetic tape at high speed running and reliability in recording/reproducing operation are improved.

Recording and/or reproduction system for recording medium

A tape cartridge includes reels having seats at the lower ends; a shell having a lower half formed with reel receivers with which the reel seats are loosely engaged, respectively, and an opening for loading a tape; a lid rotatably mounted to the shell for closing the opening of the shell; and a reel lock member for ensuring locking of the reels in connection with a closing operation of the lid. The tape cartridge further includes movement restricting means for restricting further movement of the reel lock member when it is urged to move to the reel lock position.

A tape cassette includes a shell, first and second bosses arranged on the inner surface of the shell, and a prism mounted on the inner surface of the shell and formed with first and second holes and having an optical axis which corresponds to an optical axis of light emitted from a tape-position sensor of a drive. The first and second bosses are arranged through the first and second holes. When the first and second bosses contact the inner peripheral surfaces of the first and second holes, a first clearance between the first boss and the first hole and a second clearance between the second boss and the second hole is produced in the opposite direction of the first and second bosses with respect to the optical axis of the prism.
