A screen printing apparatus includes a squeegee driver that lifts/lowers a first lifting/lowering shaft and a second lifting/lowering shaft; a link mechanism including a swinging member that pivots about a horizontal axis by lifting/lowering operations of the first lifting/lowering shaft and the second lifting/lowering shaft; a squeegee unit installed to the swinging member; and a controller that controls at least a height of the squeegee unit and an orientation of the squeegee unit in a rotating direction by controlling the squeegee driver.

There is provided a screen printing apparatus including: a mask plate on which a plurality of pattern holes are formed; a carrier supporter which supports a carrier which has a plurality of first openings and in which a plurality of workpieces are disposed on the plurality of first openings; a backup unit which has a plurality of workpiece supporters; a raising and lowering unit which lifts up the plurality of workpieces from the carrier and returns the plurality of lifted-up workpieces to the carrier; an aligner which aligns the plurality of workpieces in accordance with arrangement of the plurality of pattern holes; an overlapper which relatively moves the backup unit and the mask plate; and a print head which prints a paste on the plurality of workpieces on the plurality of workpiece supporters through the plurality of pattern holes.

Screen printing apparatus and screen printing method

A screen printing apparatus includes an inspection region setter and an operation stop controller. The inspection region setter sets an inspection region in an inspection plane that intersects with a moving path of a mask until the mask positioned at a printing-job performing position moves to a mask shelter position by the moving mechanism. In addition, the inspection region setter excludes a passing region of the mask from the inspection region while the mask to be positioned at the mask shelter position passes over the inspection plane from the printing-job performing position.

A system for manufacturing an assembly board includes an undersupporting device, a transporter configured to transport a board and the undersupporting device, an undersupporting-device installer provided below the transporter, the undersupporting-device installer being attachable to and detachable from the undersupporting device, a board processor configured to perform a predetermined processing to an upper surface of the board, a carry-in side delivering unit having first and second receiving positions different from each other, a board supplier configured to supply the board to the first receiving position, and an undersupporting-device supplier configured to supply the undersupporting device to the second receiving position. The transporter transports, to the carry-in side delivering unit, the undersupporting device detached from the undersupporting-device installer. The carry-in side delivering unit positions, at the second receiving position, the undersupporting device delivered from the transporter to allow the undersupporting device to be carried out from the second receiving position.

System for manufacturing assembly board and method for installing undersupporting device of the system

A system for manufacturing an assembly board includes an undersupporting device, a carrier configured to hold the undersupporting device, a transporter, an undersupporting-device installer attachable to and detachable from the undersupporting device, a board processor, and a magnet provided on a lower surface of the undersupporting device. The transporter transports the undersupporting device to a working position by transporting the carrier to the working position while the carrier holds the undersupporting device on the lower surface of the carrier. The transported undersupporting device is fixed to the undersupporting-device installer by a magnetic force of the magnet at the working position. The transporter transports the board to the working position. The undersupporting device supports the lower surface of the board when the board is transported to the working position. The board processor performs a predetermined processing to an upper surface of the board.

System for manufacturing an assembly board includes an undersupporting device, a transporter, an undersupporting-device installer attachable to and detachable from the undersupporting device, a board processor, a carry-in side delivering unit having different first and second receiving positions, a board supplier configured to supply the board to the first receiving position, and an undersupporting-device supplier configured to supply the undersupporting device to the second receiving position. The carry-in side delivering unit delivers the undersupporting device to the transporter, which transports the undersupporting device to a working position. The undersupporting-device is fixed to the undersupporting-device installer. The carry-in side delivering unit delivers the board to the transporter, which transports the board to the working position.

A screen printing apparatus moves a mask, inserted through an insertion opening, to a printing position at which paste is printed onto a substrate via a mask moving mechanism, and includes: a first detecting unit that detects one of a front frame component and a back frame component of the mask at a first detection position on a path along which the mask inserted through the insertion opening is moved to the printing position; a second detecting unit that detects one of the front frame component and the back frame component at a second detection position closer to the printing position than the first detecting position is; and a print suspension controller that suspends printing when the second detecting unit detects one of the front frame component and the back frame component while the first detecting unit is detecting one of the front frame component and the back frame component.

A screen printing apparatus includes: a barrier member which butts against a screen mask and a squeegee to prevent paste on the screen mask from escaping to an outside of a printing width of the board; and an urging mechanism which urges the barrier member toward the screen mask. The urging mechanism includes: a first magnetic member held by the squeegee head such that a first pole surface having a first magnetic pole is directed toward the barrier member; and a second magnetic member held by the barrier member such that a second pole surface having a second magnetic pole opposite to the first magnetic pole is directed toward the first magnetic member, whereby the urging mechanism urges the barrier member by an attracting magnetic force acting between the first pole surface and the second pole surface.

In a screen printing apparatus for contacting a lower surface of a mask plate with a substrate and moving a squeezee in a sliding motion on an upper surface of the mask plate thereby printing a paste onto the substrate, mask bend preventing members are mounted on conveying rails at front and rear parts of clamp members clamping the substrate in a Y-direction, and, at a mask separating operation after printing, the substrate is lowered while the lower surface of the mask plate is supported by the clamp members and the mask bend preventing members. Thus the mask separation can be achieved in a state where the mask plate is supported from below on four sides of the substrate and is thus prevented from a downward bending, and a satisfactory mask separating property can be ensured over the entire substrate.

In a screen printer for printing paste to the substrate through a pattern hole by abutting a mask plate on the substrate, the end face of a side end portion of the substrate is nipped and held from its both sides by a clamper. A warp correcting portion mounting a warp-correcting member constructed by a plate-shaped resilient metal is arranged in the clamper. When the substrate held to a substrate holding portion of a Z-axis table is clamped, a free end portion of the warp correcting member is abutted on the upper face side of the side end portion of the substrate, and the warp deformation of the substrate is corrected by pressing the free end portion downward. Thus, the warp deformation of the substrate is corrected by a simple and cheap mechanism, and the clamp state can be reliably held.

Screen printer

A test printing portion with a pattern dimension smaller than a minimum printing pattern dimension is formed on a substrate, and a printing state of this test printing portion is inspected after printing. Based on inspection results of the test printing portion, acceptability of the printing state of the entire substrate is judged. The test printing portion is created on a periphery of the substrate outside the printing pattern area or an unprinted space inside the printing pattern area. A detection device detects the test printing portion, and inspects its printing state. Based on the inspection results, the acceptability of the printing state of the entire substrate is judged. This enables the printing state to be easily inspected at low cost while securing a necessary decree of accuracy.

Method for inspecting printing state and substrate

Pattern holes are completely filled with paste. As a result, occurrence of defects is prevented, and an excellent printing performance is obtained, high speed screen printing is possible, and the printing efficiency is enhanced. By sliding in the running direction above the mask plate having pattern holes, this squeegee for screen print can print the paste supplied on the mask plate to the substrate through the mask plate. It includes a contacting portion for contacting with the surface of the mask plate, a filling portion disposed at the running direction side of the contacting portion, and an agitating portion disposed at the running direction side of the filling portion. The agitating portion has a function of rotating the paste by sliding. The filling portion has a function of filling the pattern holes with the paste along with the sliding motion. The paste applied in the pattern holes can be printed on the substrate.

Squeegee for screen printing, screen printing method, and screen printing apparatus

There is disclosed a solder paste screen printing apparatus and a solder paste screen printing method, in which a force of pressing of a squeegee can be adjusted delicately and accurately so as to effect the printing of solder paste with the optimum pressing force. A squeegee is connected to a lower end of a rod of a cylinder, and a load cell is provided above the rod. A first pressure and a second pressure are applied respectively to an upper chamber and a lower chamber of the cylinder. A load, applied to the load cell, is measured while varying the level of the first pressure, and the pressure measurement for the pressing force is effected in accordance with the measured load. In accordance with this result, the instruction pressure for the cylinder, which is necessary for obtaining the optimum pressing force, is determined, and then the printing of solder paste onto a substrate is started with this instruction pressure.
