An apparatus is provided for remotely monitoring a plurality of amplifiers on a display device. The amplifiers are provided to process audio signals and directly or indirectly connected to a network. In the apparatus, a collecting section collects a group code from each of the amplifiers through the network. The group code is allocated to each amplifier according to a grouping system for grouping the plurality of the amplifiers. A display control section displays a tree diagram of the amplifiers according to the collected group codes on the display device as a graphical representation of the grouping system.

When any one of a plurality of amplifiers has been selected in response to amplifier selecting operation, an amplifier Detail View of the selected amplifier is displayed, where corresponding parameters are displayed via elements of the amplifier Detail View. When any one of a plurality of groups has been selected in response to group selecting operation, a group Detail View of the selected group is displayed, where maximum and minimum values detected from among values of a parameter of individual amplifiers of the selected group are displayed via a band-shaped element of a corresponding fader element. In another example, where a hierarchical group is selected in a tree display section on a control screen, respective state information, including parameter values or states of parameters, of a plurality of amplifiers belonging to the selected hierarchical group is displayed in a state information section.

Amplifier system

A plurality of amplifiers and PCs each having installed therein remote controlling software for controlling the amplifiers are connected to a network. Data stored in a memory of each of the amplifiers include a device ID, operation data and an area ID. Memory of each of the PCs stores therein a project file each including area IDs, device information and device IDs. On the basis of the area IDs and device IDs stored in the amplifiers and the area IDs and device IDs stored in the project file, a CPU of the PC performs association between the amplifiers and virtual devices indicated by the device information and overwrites the operation data of a particular amplifier, having been associated with any one of the virtual devices, onto the project file, to thereby display, on a display, the operation data of the associated amplifier as operation data of the corresponding virtual device.

Communication path setup apparatus, communication path setup program, and storage medium storing the program

A display apparatus is designed for displaying formation of a network on a screen. The network is composed of a plurality of nodes and is capable of transferring either of musical performance information and an audio signal through communication paths connecting the plurality of the nodes. In the display apparatus, an acquiring section acquires a type of each node and an arrangement of the communication paths arranged among the nodes for transmitting and receiving the musical performance information and the audio signal. An allocating section allocates a display area to each node within the screen according to the acquired type of each node. A drawing section draws a plurality of index images indicating the respective nodes on the screen at the display areas allocated to the respective nodes, and draws lines connecting the displayed index images of the nodes on the screen according to the acquired arrangement of the communication paths.

Apparatus for displaying formation of network

An amplifier controller for controlling a plurality of amplifiers connected therewith is provided. Each of said amplifiers is provided with one or more audio output channels. The amplifier controller operates in two modes of solo mode and normal mode. When the solo mode is initiated, the amplifier controller instructs all of the amplifiers to turn off output of all audio output channels provided in the amplifiers, and only in the solo mode, according to selection of an output channel for which solo output is to be performed, the amplifier controller instructs the amplifier provided with the selected channel to turn on output of the channel, and instructs each of the amplifiers provided with an audio output channel other than the selected channel to turn off output of the audio output channel.

A plurality of devices connected to a network each includes at least either one or more output plugs for transmitting one or more data streams, or one or more input plugs for receiving one or more data streams, and each of the devices is capable of packeting a plurality of data streams and isochronously transferring the packet to another device in the network. Connection setting program, designed to set connection between a transmission source device and a transmission destination device in the network, includes a step of detecting a predetermined condition for performing automatic setting of logical connection, and a setting step of, in response to detection of the predetermined condition, automatically setting logical connection between the one or more input plugs and the one or more output plugs of the devices. Such arrangements facilitate setting of logical connection between the devices interconnected via the network.

In a tone signal synthesizer for synthesizing a tone signal by supplying a driving signal, into a closed loop circuit including a delay circuit and a filter, a filter coefficient which controls the characteristic of the filter is changed while a musical tone is generated. For example, a set of filter coefficients are provided at the time of key-on and are switched to another set of filter coefficients when a predetermined time is passed after the time of key-on. The set of filter coefficients are switched to a further set of filter coefficients at the time of key-off and then are switched to a still further set of filter coefficients when a predetermined time is passed after the time of key-off. It is possible to generate a musical tone which changes more complexly on the basis of the change of the filter characteristic, with the passage of time.

Electronic musical instrument of delayed feedback type

A loop circuit including a delay element and an all-pass filter circulates a tone signal. A driving waveform is applied to the loop circuit. The delay element provides a delay time corresponding to the pitch of the circulating tone signal and the all-pass filter is capable of changing the phase of the tone signal corresponding to its frequency. Thus, the resulting musical tone can be controlled in accordance with touch, thereby enabling the simulation of vibration of pitch and the generation of non-harmonic components caused by touch in a natural musical instrument.

An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic musical instrument which can generate a plurality of tones in spite of the inexpensive and simple structure thereof and can correct the quantity of phase delay of a closed loop in a physical model tone generator without use of any special processor such as a high-speed CPU or a dedicated numerical operation processor, not only to thereby attain performance effects of echo, chorus and the like but to simulate a performance style of repeating the operation of one string or key in the condition in which a tone corresponding to the string or key remains, without production of noise even when parameters for constituent elements of the physical model tone generator are respectively changed widely. The electronic musical instrument includes a driving waveform for storing a plurality of driving waveform data corresponding to performance information in advance, and a closed loop constituted by a shift register and a low-pass filter. The plurality of driving waveform data are supplied into the closed loop and repeatedly circulated while applying at least a delay process and a decay process onto the plurality of driving waveform data by way of time division corresponding to the performance information. As a result, a plurality of signals circulating in the closed loop are generated as a plurality of tone signals.

Electronic musical instrument having physical model tone generator

An electronic musical instrument has plural keys each capable of designating different tone pitch and touch response. When any key is depressed by player, touch response information is generated in response to touch intensity or depressing pressure of the depressed key. Based on the touch response information, initial-touch response effect or after-touch response effect is applied to a musical tone of depressed key or musical tones of simultaneously depressed keys. The touch response information is corrected such that the generated musical tones will not be heard un-natural. In addition, by controlling the depressing pressure of key, an automatic performance pattern consisting of predetermined accompaniment pattern and rhythm pattern can be designated and changed.
