An exhaust chamber of a steam turbine according to an embodiment includes an outer casing which includes an end wall part in an axial direction and an extension part extending upward in the axial direction from the end wall part, a first flow guide formed into an annular shape, the first flow guide forming an upstream region of a diffuser surface in a hub-side flow guide and being fixed to an upstream end portion of the extension part on a radially inner side of the diffuser surface, and a second flow guide formed into an annular shape, the second flow guide forming a downstream region of the diffuser surface at a position downstream of the first flow guide and on a radially outer side of the extension part, and being fixed to the extension part.

The turbine includes: a shaft body supported rotatably; a plurality of turbine blade members; a casing covering the shaft body and the turbine blade row; an outer ring member that is provided on an inner periphery of the casing and includes an inner peripheral portion in which a cross-section having a uneven shape is continuous in a circumferential direction; a plurality of turbine vane members that each has a shroud fitted into the inner peripheral portion of the outer ring member and a turbine vane main body extending from the shroud to a radially inward side; and a plate member that connects at least some of the plurality of turbine vane members and covers one side of the shrouds in the axial direction, thereby sealing a shroud gap formed between the shrouds adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction.

The present invention aims at providing a technique for providing a stepped structure separately to a rotating shaft in a later step of assembly for preventing oil leakage from a bearing box. To this end, the rotating machine of the present invention includes a rotating shaft having a rotating member, a bearing device including a rotating shaft insertion hole larger in diameter than the rotating shaft, an oil thrower provided between an outer circumferential portion of the rotating shaft insertion hole and the rotating shaft, and an additional ring attached to the rotating shaft between the oil thrower and the rotating shaft such as to protrude in a radial direction of the rotating shaft.

Precision cast hollow stationary blade used for final stage of steam turbine is improved to enhance drain recovery efficiency. Hollows (,), sectioned by rib (,) to be independent of each other, are formed in stationary blade (,) passing therethrough from outer shroud,to inner shroud,. A plurality of ventral slits (,to,) are provided on blade surface ventral side linearly with predetermined interval between the slits in two parallel rows. Dorsal slits (,to,) are also provided linearly with predetermined interval between the slits. Drain on blade surface enters the hollows (,) through the ventral slits (,to,) and the dorsal slits (,to,), respectively, and flows out of the outer shroud (,) or the inner shroud (,) as drain (,to,) to be recovered. While prior art hollow is single hollow and drain entering the hollow through the dorsal slits flows out through the ventral slits or reverse case thereof occurs, the hollows (,) of the present invention being sectioned by the rib (,), the drain is prevented from flowing out to the opposite side.
