An electric connector includes a fixing-side contact having a vertical portion of plate shape, a relay contact having a pair of front arms and a pair of rear arms, and an insulator having a relay contact insertion groove, the vertical portion of the fixing-side contact being sandwiched between the pair of rear arms so that the relay contact is held to be swingable with respect to the fixing-side contact and is electrically connected to the fixing-side contact, an opening width of an opening of the relay contact insertion groove of the insulator being shorter than an opening width at ends of the pair of front arms located on a forward side in a fitting direction.

Electric connector

A receptacle connector includes a receptacle contact corresponding to a plug contact, a receptacle housing that holds the receptacle contact, and an assistant fitting attached to the receptacle housing, and is mounted on a connector mounting surface of a circuit board. The assistant fitting includes at least a held portion, a fixing portion, and a vertical displacement regulating portion. The held portion is a portion that is held by the receptacle housing. The fixing portion is a portion that is hooked to the plug housing to thereby fix the plug connector to the receptacle connector. The vertical displacement regulating portion is a portion that regulates a displacement of the fixing portion in a direction away from the connector mounting surface of the circuit board.

Wire-to-board connector

A semiconductor device package assembly which increases production efficiency of semiconductor devices by enabling the number of semiconductor device packages held by a carrier to be increased. A predetermined area of a first housing molded of white-colored resin, which holds a plurality of bent contacts, is covered by a second housing molded of black-colored resin, and a plurality of second housings are supported by a secondary molding carrier in high density. A linking portion of each contact and one or both of the first and second housings are integrated by insert molding.

Electrical connector

An illumination device comprises a support platehaving a front surfaceand a back surfacefacing each other in a plate thickness direction and an openingpassing through in the plate thickness direction; a light source moduleplaced on the front surface of the support plate; a drive circuit portionfor driving the light source module; and a connectorconnecting the drive circuit portion to the light source module. The connector is inserted through the opening of the support plate and brought into contact with the back surface of the support plate.

LED illumination device with edge connector

A plug side surface of a plug housing is provided with a claw portion. The claw portion includes a plug lock surface facing in a direction away from a connector mounting surface. Each assistant fitting of a receptacle connector includes a receptacle lock surface that faces in a direction approaching the connector mounting surface and is opposed to the plug lock surface in a mated state. The plug lock surface includes a lock maintaining surface and an unlocking surface. Further an angle formed between a reference plane and the lock maintaining surface is a lock maintaining angle and an angle formed between the reference plane and the unlocking surface is an unlocking angle, the lock maintaining angle is smaller than the unlocking angle.

A connector () is adapted to be connected to a circuit board () and has an insulating housing () adapted to be mounted to one end portion of the circuit board. The housing is provided with conductive contacts () each having a shape along the housing. The housing has first and second portions () that respectively face both surfaces of the circuit board when the housing is mounted to the circuit board, and a joining portion () joining the first and second portions together. The contacts are insulated from the circuit board in the joining portion and are exposed in the first portion so as to be capable of contacting the surface of the circuit board.

Connector and illumination device

A connector has contacts, each including a holding portion inserted from a direction orthogonal to a connector fitting direction and held by a housing, a contact portion continuous with the holding portion and extending in the fitting direction, and a connection portion continuous with the holding portion and connected to an LED mounting substrate. The housing includes a main body inserted in a hole formed in the LED mounting substrate, and a top hoard portion formed thereon. The main body is formed with connector receiving portions which accommodate the contact portions and receive a cable connector. The board portion is formed with contact accommodating portions which communicate with the connector receiving portions and accommodate the holding portions. The main body is formed with slots via which the contacts are inserted into the connector receiving portions and the contact accommodating portions from directions orthogonal to the fitting direction.

Connector and lighting device

To provide a connector which is capable of reducing the amount of protrusion from the mounting surface of a substrate, and reducing the amount of exposure of contacts, and reducing a mounting area. A housingis formed by a housing main bodywhich is inserted into a cutout formed in an LED-mounted substrate, and a top plate portionwhich is continuous with the housing main bodyand opposes to a mounting surface of the LED-mounted substrate. The housing main bodyaccommodates a contact portionof a contact, and is formed with a connector receiving portionwhich receives a housing of the cable connector. The top plate portionis formed with a holding portion-receiving portionwhich receives a holding portionof the contact, from an inserting direction DI orthogonal to a direction along which the housing main bodyis continuous with the top plate portion. The connection portionsandof the contactare caused to laterally protrude, and front ends of the connection portionsandare bent toward the housing

Connector

A display deviceof the present invention includes a relay connectorconfigured to relay power supply from the power boardmounted to a chassisto a discharge tube. The relay connectorincludes a holderand a relay terminal. The holder has insulation properties and is mounted to the chassis. The relay terminalis electrically connected to the power boardand the discharge tube, and attached to the holder. The relay terminal includes a pair of flexible portionsthat hold the power board therebetween and are electrically connected to the power board. The flexible portionsare formed such that the longitudinal directions thereof cross the longitudinal direction of the discharge tube

Lighting device, relay connector, display device and television receiver

In a power board, relay terminals penetrate a circuit board through fitting holes, and are connected to output terminals. The fitting holes are thus formed as through holes on the circuit board, and thereby on-board connectors provided for connection to the relay terminals on a chassis can be arranged on the back surface of the circuit board on the opposite side of the chassis. Electronic components free from restriction of the positional relationship with the chassis can be mounted on the back surface of the circuit board, as are the on-board connectors.

Power board, on-board connector, lighting device, display device and television receiver

In a discharge tube, a conductive ferrule is provided on an end portion of a glass tube. The ferrule includes a body that is to be mounted to the outer circumference of the glass tube and has a contact portion to be electrically conductively fixed to a relay connector (or a bearing device). Further included is a conductive portion that extends from the body so as to have elastic contact with an outer lead. The outer lead will not be under load due to the weight of the discharge tube, but the conductive portion solely has elastic contact therewith. Thus, stress concentration on the outer lead can be prevented.

Discharge tube, ferrule, lighting device, display device and television receiver

Discharge tubes, each of which includes a glass tube and a ferrule that has a substantially cylindrical shape and is fitted to each end portion of the glass tube, are supported by a plurality of pairs of relay connectors (or supporting members) provided on the front side of a chassis having substantially a plate-shaped configuration. When a discharge tube is supported by relay connectors, stoppers provided on the relay connectors lock the ferrules so that axial movement of the discharge tube relative to the relay connectors is restricted.
