A tipping prevention unit that prevents tipping of an image forming apparatus includes shafts holding a wheel of the image forming apparatus, a shaft that abuts the image forming apparatus at a position higher than the shafts, and a shaft that contacts a floor surface on which the image forming apparatus is placed at a position further protruding to the outside of the image forming apparatus than the wheel of the image forming apparatus.

Tipping prevention unit, feeding apparatus, and image forming apparatus

A sheet stacking portion is provided in a sheet storing portion in which sheets are stored. The sheet stacking portion is suspended by a wire which is wound up and wound off. The sheet stacking portion is raised and lowered by winding up and winding off the wire. Then, when the wire is in a slack state, a fixing portion fixes the sheet stacking portion to the sheet storing portion. When the wire is in a tensioned state, the fixing of the sheet stacking portion is released.

Sheet feeding apparatus and image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus includes: a conveying unit for conveying a recording material on which an image is to be formed; and a pair of side members provided on both sides of the recording material conveyed by the conveying unit, in which the pair of side members each have a first surface portion and a second surface portion that extends in a direction different from the first surface portion, the first surface portion of one of the pair of side members being opposed to that of the other, and in which the conveying unit is attached to the second surface portion of each of the pair of side members, whereby the maintenance property of the conveying unit for conveying the recording material is improved.

Main frame construction for an image forming apparatus

A sheet supply portion is disposed in the lowermost portion of a printer so as to be substantially horizontal. A main conveying path for guiding a sheet from a transferring roller to a fixing device is disposed in a substantially vertical direction so as to be along the back of the printer. The guide surface of a sheet delivery guide constituting a conveying path leading from the fixing device to a pair of sheet delivery rollers is a flat surface.

Image forming apparatus

An operation device for an electronic apparatus comprises an indication board, a plurality of electric elements arranged at predetermined parts of the indication board, and a frame having a plurality of elastic pushing members formed in positions corresponding to the electric elements respectively. The surface of each of the pushing members is provided with a conductor part which is connected to an electrical wiring provided on the frame. Each of the electric elements is sandwiched and carried, with electrical connection, between the indication board and the frame.
