A journal bearing includes: a carrier ring; a plurality of bearing pads disposed on a radially inner side of a lower half region of the carrier ring, and configured to support a rotor shaft from below; and a guide metal disposed in an upper half region of the carrier ring, in center with respect to an axial direction of the rotor shaft, so as to cover an upper region of an outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaft.

A journal bearing includes: a carrier ring having a cylindrical shape; at least two bearing pads disposed on a radially inner side of the carrier ring and configured to support a rotor shaft; at least one oil-supply unit disposed on the radially inner side of the carrier ring, for supplying lubricant oil to a gap between the bearing pad and the rotor shaft; a pair of side plates disposed on both end portions of the carrier ring with respect to an axial direction, along an outer periphery of the rotor shaft; and at least one opening configured to bring a bearing interior space surrounded by the at least two bearing pads and the pair of side plates into communication with atmosphere, and discharge the lubricant oil to outside via the bearing interior space.

In a carrier-ring side region of an inner peripheral surface of each of the side plates, a groove extending in a circumferential direction along a side surface of the first bearing portion is formed at least in a part of an extending range of the first bearing portion.

A journal bearing includes: a carrier ring having an annular shape; a first bearing pad disposed on a radially inner side of a lower half region of the carrier ring and configured to support a rotor shaft from below; a first oil-supply unit disposed immediately before and upstream of the first bearing pad; a pair of side plates disposed on both end portions of the carrier ring with respect to an axial direction, along an outer periphery of the rotor shaft, Each of the side plates includes: a first region; and a second region which is positioned above the first region, and in which a gap between an inner peripheral surface of the side plate and an outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaft is narrower than that in the first region.

A journal bearing includes: a carrier ring; a plurality of bearing pads disposed on a radially inner side of a lower half region of the carrier ring and configured to support a rotor shaft from below; a pair of side plates disposed on both sides of the plurality of bearing pads, with respect to an axial direction of the rotor shaft; and a dam disposed on a radially inner side of the carrier ring, in a downstream section of an upper half region of the carrier ring, and configured to suppress a downstream flow of carried-over oil. A gap is provided between inner peripheral surfaces of the respective side plates and an outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaft, for bringing into communication an outside and a bearing interior space surrounded by the pair of side plates.

A journal bearing includes a carrier ring, a plurality of bearing pads disposed on a radially inner side of a lower-half region of the carrier ring and configured to support a rotor shaft from below, and a pair of side plates disposed on both sides of the plurality of bearing pads with respect to an axial direction of the rotor shaft. Each of the side plates includes a first region including a circumferential range upstream of a first bearing pad positioned furthest upstream among the plurality of bearing pads, and a second region positioned upstream of the first region and has a larger distance between an inner peripheral surface of the side plate and an outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaft than that of the first region.

A rotating machine includes a casing () having a cavity () that a tip of a rotor blade enters, a plurality of sealing fins () extending from an inner circumferential surface of the cavity () of the casing () toward the tip of the rotor blade () and configured to seal a space between the casing () and the rotor blade (), and swirl breakers () disposed between the plurality of sealing fins, extending from the inner circumferential surface of the cavity () of the casing () inward in the radial direction, and having swirl flow collision surface () with which a swirl flow collides and swirl flow transmission parts (n) formed at at least parts of the swirl flow collision surfaces () and through which the swirl flow passes in a circumferential direction.

Movable vacuum welding device

A bearing temperature monitoring device and bearing device provided with the monitoring device composed so that occurrence of scratch on the rotation shaft supported by the bearing caused by a bearing temperature carrying member integrated in the bearing such that its top end surface faces the rotation shaft, are provided. The bearing device is provided with a bearing temperature detecting device which comprises a bearing temperature carrying member made of material larger in thermal conductivity than the bearing layer and shaped to have a protruded part to be inserted slidably into a through hole in the bearing layer and a base part to be received in a cylindrical space in the back metal, the base part serving to restrict protrusion of the protruded part into the through hole so that the top end surface thereof is level with the sliding surface of the bearing layer, a pushing member attached to the back metal to push the temperature carrying member so that the member move toward the back metal against the pushing force of the pushing member when bearing load exerts on the temperature carrying member, and a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of the temperature carrying member.

Bearing temperature monitoring device and bearing device provided with the monitoring device

An oiling nozzle for a thrust bearing improves the following capability of pads and achieves a higher bearing pressure of the thrust bearing. The oiling nozzles are arranged between respective pads disposed in positions facing the thrust surface of a thrust collar that protrudes radially outward from a rotor shaft, along the circumferential direction. Each oiling nozzle has a cylindrical stem and a rectangular-shaped mainframe whose heightwise middle portions of opposite lateral sides are provided with convex parts. Each convex part presents a semicircular disk shape in a plane view to be fitted into concave parts that are formed in lateral sides of the pads. A top portion located on a side opposite to the stem is formed with a plurality of nozzle holes for ejecting lubricating oil that has been supplied from the bottom of the stem toward a space between the thrust collar and the pads.

Oiling nozzle for thrust bearing

A journal bearing includes a bearing platform, a cylindrical bearing housing supported by the bearing platform via a plurality of load supporting members, a plurality of pads located swingable in the bearing housing so that a journal of a rotation shaft is supported by the pads, an oil supply mechanism for supplying oil to the bearing surfaces of the pads, and a connecting member which has an oil hole to communicate an oil supply passage in the bearing platform with an oil supply passage in the bearing housing so that oil is supplied from the bearing platform to the bearing surfaces of the pads. The connecting member carries a part of a bearing load exerted from the bearing housing, and is mounted such that the part of the bearing load carried by the connecting member is smaller than a bearing load carried by one of the load supporting members.

Journal bearing

A rotation shaft supporting structure has radial clearance between a bearing surface of an upper tilting pad and a rotating surface of the journal that can be adjusted so that a high pressure oil film is formed in the clearance and carryover of lubrication oil from an upstream pad to its adjacent downstream pad is prevented. Oil supply nozzles are mounted to the bearing housing to be located adjacent to the upstream and downstream side end of each bearing pad. An upstream side nozzle supplies lubrication oil to the bearing surface of the pad and a downstream side nozzle injects oil toward the journal surface to prevent carryover of lubrication oil from the bearing surface of the upstream pad to that of the downstream pad dragged by the rotating surface of the journal. The nozzles also serve as stoppers to prevent rotational movement of the pad.

Rotation shaft supporting structure with journal bearing and assembling method of the bearing

A journal bearing has a plurality of pad stops which include a first pad stop located at a most forward position in the rotation direction of the rotation shaft, and the pad stops other than the first pad stop function as oiling nozzles for releasing lubricating oil between the outer circumferential surface of the rotation shaft and the inner circumferential surfaces of the pads.
