The present disclosure provides a sealing member that includes insertion holes into which connector terminals are inserted, wherein the sealing member exhibits a high water sealability and damage caused when the connector terminal is inserted into the insertion hole is suppressed. The present disclosure also provides a waterproof connector that includes the sealing member. A sealing memberincludes: a silicone rubber that is formed as a plate-like member; and insertion holesthat are formed in a plate surface of the plate-like member and into which connector terminalscan be inserted. The silicone rubber has an unnotched Charpy impact strength at −60° C. of 11.5 kJ/mor more. A waterproof connectorincludes the sealing memberand the connector terminals. Sealing member and waterproof connector

A terminal-equipped wire for charging inlet is provided with a wire including a conductor and an insulation coating, and a terminal to be connected to the conductor exposed from an end part of the wire. The insulation coating has an olefin-based resin as a main component. The terminal-equipped wire is further provided with a heat shrinkable tube for covering a region from a connection point of the conductor and the terminal to the insulation coating, and a primer layer provided between an inner peripheral surface of the heat shrinkable tube and an outer peripheral surface of the terminal. The inner peripheral surface of the heat shrinkable tube and an outer peripheral surface of the insulation coating are directly in contact.

Terminal-equipped wire

A terminal-equipped wire for charging inlet is provided with a wire including a conductor and an insulation coating, and a terminal to be connected to the conductor exposed from an end part of the wire. The insulation coating has an olefin-based resin as a main component. The terminal-equipped wire is further provided with a molded resin portion for covering a region from a connection point of the conductor and the terminal to the insulation coating, and a primer layer provided between an inner peripheral surface of the molded resin portion and an outer peripheral surface of the terminal. The inner peripheral surface of the molded resin portion and an outer peripheral surface of the insulation coating are directly in contact.

A seal member that includes an insertion hole into which a connector terminal is insertable, wherein, when a direction in which the connector terminal is to be inserted into the insertion hole is defined as an insertion axis: an inner diameter of a cross-section of the insertion hole orthogonal to the insertion axis at a position at which the inner diameter is the smallest is denoted as a minimum hole diameter D, an outer length of a cross-section of the connector terminal orthogonal to the insertion axis at a position at which the outer length is the largest is denoted as a maximum terminal outer length L, and the minimum hole diameter D and the maximum terminal outer length L satisfy a relationship 2.1&#x2264;L/D&#x2264;4.2.

Seal member and waterproof connector

A silicone rubber composition for waterproofing which is capable of maintaining waterproofing performance even if flexing and bending occur; a silicone rubber molded body for waterproofing; and a wire harness. This silicone rubber composition for waterproofing includes a thermosetting silicone rubber, has a Shore A hardness of not more than 25 after being cured, and has breaking strength of at least 5.0 MPa after being cured. The silicone rubber composition for waterproofing is used in a waterproofing part of a wire harness. It is preferable that a vinyl group-containing compound be included in addition to the thermosetting silicone rubber. A vinyl group-containing compound may be a monofunctional vinyl group-containing compound.

An electric wire with a connector in which high adhesiveness can be ensured at both the interface between an insulator and a sealing layer and the interface between a connector housing and the sealing layer, and a wire harness using this electric wire with a connector are provided. The electric wire with a connector includes an insulated electric wire including a conductor and an insulator containing silicone with which the outer circumference of the conductor is coated, a connector terminal connected to a portion of the conductor exposed by stripping a portion of the insulator, a connector housing made of a resin in which an end of the insulated electric wire and a portion of the connector terminal are embedded, and a sealing layer provided between the surface of the insulator and the connector housing covering the outer circumference of the surface of the insulator at the end of the insulated electric wire. The sealing layer is constituted by a sticky adhesive.
