A plate changer that supplies a plate storing a sample to an autosampler included in an analyzer includes a storage that stores the plate, and a plate transporter that transports the plate by holding the plate, the plate transporter receiving the plate from a first plate changer provided at one side of the plate changer and also transferring the plate received from the first plate changer to a second plate changer or the autosampler provided at another side of the plate changer or transferring the plate stored in the storage to the second plate changer or the autosampler.

An autosampler for a chromatograph includes a first injection port through which a sample is injected into a first analysis flow path of the chromatograph, a second injection port through which a sample is injected into a second analysis flow path of the chromatograph, a needle that is movable to both of the first injection port and the second injection port, and injects a sample into the first injection port and the second injection port, a first sample loop that stores a sample to be injected into the first analysis flow path, a second sample loop that stores a sample to be injected into the second analysis flow path, and a metering pump that loads a sample in the first sample loop and the second sample loop.

Autosampler for chromatograph

An autosampler is switched selectively between an injecting mode where a sampling flow path is incorporated into an analysis flow path of a liquid chromatograph and a loading mode where the sampling flow path is not incorporated into the analysis flow path and injects a sample into the analysis flow path at a position farther upstream than a separation column by being switched to the injecting mode with the sample held in the sampling flow path, and includes a clog determiner configured to acquire a sending liquid pressure of a liquid sending pump that sends a mobile phase in the analysis flow path, obtain a variation value of the liquid sending pressure when the injecting mode and the loading mode are switched and determine presence or absence of a clog in a system incorporated into the analysis flow path in the injecting mode based on the obtained variation value.

Autosampler and liquid chromatograph

An autosampler sucks cleaning liquid from a tip side of a sampling needle and holds the cleaning liquid in the sampling channel before sucking analysis liquid from the tip of the sampling needle, and, after dispensing of the analysis liquid is finished, discharges the cleaning liquid from the tip of the sampling needle, so as to clean the inside of the sampling needle and the sampling channel.

An autosampler according to an embodiment includes a sampling channel including a movable needle at a tip, and a switching valve, including a plurality of ports, for switching the connection state between the ports by switching the position of a rotor by rotating the rotor. The rotor of the switching valve includes an injecting position in which a delivery port and a sampling port are communicated and an injection port and an analysis port are communicated, a purging position in which the delivery port and the sampling port are communicated and the injection port and a drain port are communicated, and a loading position in which the delivery port and the analysis port are communicated.

After a sampling needle is moved to a position above a sample container, the sampling needle is moved down so that the tip of the sampling needle penetrates a septum, and is then preferably moved down to a position at which the tip of the sampling needle is not brought into contact with a sample contained in the sample container, and then, the sampling needle is once elevated until the sampling needle is pulled out of the septum, and is then again moved down to penetrate the septum until the tip of the sampling needle is inserted into the sample to suck the sample through a suction port of the sampling needle, and then, the sampling needle is moved to a sample injection port of an analyzer to inject the sample into the analyzer.
