A liquid crystal module includes a display panel, a back frame, a bezel, and a molded frame. The bezel includes an R_cover component and a B_cover component that are separate from each other. The R_cover component and the B_cover component each include a first conductor disposed on a surface of a front surface region facing the display panel; and a first extension section that extends to a position at which the first extension section is in contact with the back frame. A second conductor that overlaps a joint of the R_cover component and the B_cover component in a front view is disposed on molded frame; and a second extension section that extends to a position at which the second extension section is in contact with the back frame.

Image display apparatus

A video display device includes: a display panel that displays an image based on an input image signal; a light source substrate that includes a plurality of light sources on a main surface which is a front side of the light source substrate, and emits, toward a rear side of the display panel, light emitted from the plurality of light sources; a reflection sheet that is provided on the main surface of the light source substrate, and in which hollow partitioning walls each of which separates adjacent two light sources of the plurality of light sources are formed; and an optical member that has a plate shape, is provided between the display panel and the light source substrate, and uniformizes luminance distribution of the light emitted from the light source substrate. The reflection sheet extends to an outside of an outer peripheral edge of the optical member as viewed from the front side.

Video display device

An image display apparatus includes: back frame light-emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed on a back frame; a luminance uniforming plate which makes uniform luminance of light emitted by the LEDs; a diffuser plate which is disposed on a front-surface side of the luminance uniforming plate and a support pin which is fixed to the back frame, extends to penetrate through the luminance uniforming plate, and has a tip end that supports the diffuser plate. The support pin includes: a pedestal which is fixed to an opening portion formed in the back frame; and a support which includes the tip end, and extends from the pedestal toward a front-surface side. The pedestal includes a holding portion (first portion and second portion) which holds the back frame in a thickness direction of the back frame, and a portion of the holding portion on which the back frame is disposed is stepped.

Image display apparatus and support pin

An image display apparatus includes: a back frame disposed on a rear-surface side of a display panel; a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed on a front-surface side of the back frame; a luminance uniforming plate which is disposed on a front-surface side of the plurality of LEDs to cover the plurality of LEDs, and makes uniform luminance of light emitted by the plurality of LEDs; a diffuser plate which is disposed on a front-surface side of the luminance uniforming plate, and diffuses light transmitted through the luminance uniforming plate; and a support pin which is fixed to the back frame, extends to penetrate through the luminance uniforming plate, and has a tip end that supports the diffuser plate. The tip end of the support pin has a shape of a convex curve.

The reflection sheet includes intersection portions where the partitioning walls formed in a first direction and the partitioning walls formed in a second direction crossing the first direction cross each other, and further includes linear portions formed in parallel with the first direction or the second direction. Each of the support members is disposed in a recess portion formed in a corresponding linear portion.

A video display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, and light source substrates configured to illuminate the liquid crystal display panel from a rear side of the liquid crystal display panel. Each of the light source substrates includes a plurality of light emitting diodes each of which is provided in corresponding one of areas different from each other in the liquid crystal display panel, and driver elements which drive each of the plurality of light emitting diodes such that light is emitted with luminance corresponding to brightness within a corresponding area of an image in accordance with a control signal. First conductive foil is disposed on a first main surface of the light source substrate on which the light emitting diodes are provided. Second conductive foil is disposed on a second main surface of the light source substrate on a side opposite to the first main surface. Ground pattern foil is disposed as the second conductive foil on the second main surface in regions each of which includes a corresponding one of the plurality of light emitting diodes in a plan view. The first conductive foil and the second conductive foil have a substantially equivalent area.

Image display device

A video display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, and a plurality of light source substrates configured to illuminate the liquid crystal display panel from a rear side of the liquid crystal display panel. Each of the plurality of light source substrates includes a signal input connector that receives a control signal, a plurality of light emitting diodes each of which is provided in correspondence with a corresponding one of areas different from each other in the liquid crystal display panel, a driver element that drives each of the plurality of light emitting diodes in accordance with the control signal such that each of the plurality of light emitting diodes emits light with luminance corresponding to brightness of the corresponding area of an image, and a signal output connector that through-outputs the control signal. The signal output connector of a first light source substrate included in the plurality of light source substrates, and the signal input connector of a second light source substrate included in the plurality of light source substrates are electrically connected.

Image display device including multiple light source substrates

A video display device includes: a display panel that displays an image based on an image signal; a light source substrate disposed on a rear side of the display panel; a plurality of light emitting elements each of which is attached to a surface of the light source substrate on a side toward the display panel to emit light to the display panel; a reflection sheet; and driver elements that drive each of the plurality of light emitting elements. Partitioning wall portions are formed in the reflection sheet, each of partitioning wall portions separates adjacent ones of the light emitting elements, and expands toward the display panel. The reflection sheet covers the surface of the light source substrate on the side toward the display panel except for portions provided with the light emitting elements. Each of the driver elements is attached to the surface of the light source substrate on the side toward the display panel in a portion surrounded by the corresponding partitioning wall portions.

A video display device includes a display panel that displays an image based on an image signal, and a light source substrate disposed on a rear side of the display panel. The light source substrate includes a plurality of light emitting elements disposed on a surface of the light source substrate on a side toward the display panel, and a plurality of driver elements that are disposed on the same surface of the light source substrate as the surface to which the plurality of light emitting elements are attached, and drive each of the plurality of light emitting elements.

After assembling a framework in an approximately rectangular form, a basis plane is formed by grinding a bottom surface of the framework. Then, ends of two opposing sides of the framework on a side opposite to the basis plane are cut in a predetermined shape by shearing. The grinding can be carried out by placing the framework on a grinding surface that is running, while applying substantially no pressurizing force other than the self weight of the framework. According to this method, precision of forming end faces of a framework on which a shadow mask is mounted can be improved. Also, working time can be shortened.
