An artificial nail or decorative cover is used to cover a clip set. The clip set combines the nail cover or decorative cover with a plastic clip. The nail cover is a cover body with an outer surface curved like a human nail and has a wall running sideways at an inner surface of the cover. A fitting ditch between the inner surface of the cover and the thin plate wall is provided on the thin plate wall. This artificial nail cover or decorative cover can be also attached with the plastic clip to cover the clip set.

A plastic clip for use clothes such as a sudpender clip, kimono, or clohespin, has an all plastic three-part design incorporating an over center clipping action dependent upon the resiliency of plastic materials, and incorporates no metallic spring. An upper clipping member has a spindle plate established between side walls, and a pair of recess bearings on inner faces of the side walls. A lower clipping member has a ditch like bearing which engages the spindle plate of the upper clipping member, a projection which is narrower than protuberances formed on the sides of the projection, and an elastic tongue prepared on a central portion just under the projection which extends upward. The third portion of the clip is an operation stick having a box with outer walls which is established to be inserted between upper clipping member side walls and the lower clipping member projection. The operation stick member also has a pair of actuation expansions on the out side of the box outer wall while both inner sides of the box have a pair of engaging dents into which protuberances of the lower clipping member are fitted in. A pressure plate of the operation stick member is established hehind the center of the actuator expansions and a slit-like belt insertion is prepared at the rear end of the operation.

Plastic clip

The plastic clip comprises a lower clipping member having bridging plate connected integrally to one end of a substrate so as to separate from the substrate and a support shelf formed between a pair of side walls for supporting the bridging plate, and an upper clipping member having a U-shaped auxiliary portion integrally connected with one end of another substrate and a hinge portion formed at a free end of an outer leg of the U-shaped portion. The clip also comprises an operation member having an actuation cam plate inserted between both legs of the auxiliary portion so that ends of the lower clipping member and the upper clipping member are opened and closed with each other when the upper clipping member is assembled into the lower clipping member by inserting the auxiliary portion of the upper clipping member into the gap situated below the bridging plate of the lower clipping member, and fitting the hinge portion of the upper clipping member to the support shelf of the lower clipping member.

A device for adjusting the length of a band or the like which comprises a first and a second component member. The first component member comprises an annular body having a passage of substantially rectangular cross section for a portion of the band to be passed through and a bearing slot or recess formed in the bottom wall of the body. The second component member comprises a plate having an upstanding end portion the upper edge of which is preferably serrated and a depending tongue adjacent to the end portion thereof. When the first and second component members are connected, the tongue of the second component member engages the bearing slot or recess of the first component member to securely fasten said portion of the band between the upper edge of the upstanding end portion of the second component member and the inner surface of the top wall of the first component member.

Device for adjusting the length of a band or the like

A belt holding device formed integrally from a continuous and planar blank material and comprising a peripheral frame portion and at least three projections or tongued portions respectively extending from the peripheral frame portion toward generally a center of a central area defined by the peripheral frame portion, and leaving an opening in generally a center of the central area through which a strip of belt can be threaded in position.

A plastic clip comprising an upper clip member, a lower clip member, an operative member and a resilient member, in which the upper clip member is provided with a pair of outwardly extended supporting portions each having a bearing portion, while the lower clip member is provided with a pair of journals projected outwardly whereby the upper and lower clip members are pivotally connected with each other through the fitting of the journals into the bearing portions respectively.

A plastic buckle comprises a pair of plastic engaging elements of the same shape each of which includes a plate portion, a base plate portion extended from the longitudinal edge of the plate portion, and two engaging portions extended integrally from the edge of the base plate portion, whereby the buckle can connect the ends of a belt or the like through the engagement of the engaging portions by simple operation.

A plastic clip comprises upper and lower plate members each comprising a base plate having a jaw at the front end thereof and being pivotally connected to the other, a spring for holding the jaws in open position and an operating member for holding the jaws in closed position. The jaws of the plate members are kept in closed position by the force substantially parallel to the plate members.

A clip comprises a lower member including a base plate, at least one bridge and at least one pivot projection, an upper member including a base plate and at least one recessed bearing portion positioned to receive the pivot projection, thereby permitting pivotal connection of the upper and lower members, and a slide member including at least one slide plate and at least one crossplate having an upper surface capable of slidably engaging with the underside of an elongated portion of the bridge. Either one or both of the upper and lower members are selectively reduced in thickness toward its rear edge so as to obtain a desired angle of opening of the clip.
