Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to a device having a lens that directs angles of light toward solar cells and display sections having components that improve image clarity, reflectivity, and vividness. In one embodiment, a system includes a lens that directs incident light within a first angular range for absorption and a second angular range toward viewing material. The system also includes that the viewing material is within sections of the lens and forms an image. The system also includes reflective components adjacent to the viewing material within the sections of the lens, the reflective components reach ends of the lens away from the incident light and reflect the incident light within the second angular range that reflects off the viewing material. The system also includes an absorption component that captures energy from the incident light, the absorption component coupled to the lens at the ends and the reflective components.

System to display a vivid image on solar cells

A wrapping film includes a transparent film with an ultraviolet-near infrared (UV-NIR) active layer and a visibly transparent infrared (VTIR) reflective layer. The transparent film is configured to be wrapped onto a surface, the UV-NIR active layer is configured to absorb at least one of UV light or NIR light and emit IR light, and the VTIR reflective layer is configured to reflect the emitted IR light. The wrapping film also includes a photovoltaic solar cell disposed on an edge of and in optical communication with the transparent film and the photovoltaic solar cell is configured to receive the reflected IR light and generate electricity.

A vehicle according to the present disclosure includes a first riding space and a second riding space, each of which is a riding position on one side and the other side of a right side and a left side with respect to a front-rear direction, respectively, and is configured to: acquire a traveling route; identify a side where a landscape viewed from the vehicle is good from among the right side and the left side with respect to a traveling direction; identify a preferential space in which a degree of preferential treatment of a passenger riding in the first riding space or the second riding space is high; and determine the forward direction and the backward direction when the vehicle travels on the traveling route such that the preferential space is set to the side where the landscape viewed from the vehicle is good.

In an apparatus producing hydrogen gas by a decomposition reaction of water using a photocatalyst, the water is warmed with waste heat of a light source for improving the production efficiency of hydrogen gas. The hydrogen gas producing apparatuscomprises a container portion receiving water; a photocatalyst body, dispersed or placed in the water, having a photocatalyst material to generate excited electrons and electron holes by irradiation of light, causing the decomposition reaction of water which decomposes water into hydrogen and oxygen to generate hydrogen gas; a light source emitting the light to be irradiated to the photocatalyst body; and a housing carrying the light source; wherein the housing is placed in the water, which is warmed by the waste heat of the light source discharged from the housing surface which is coated with a photocatalyst material.

A method for operating an air conditioner installed in a vehicle is provided. The method includes a step of operating the air conditioner according to an operation instruction for the air conditioner when the operation instruction is received from a mobile terminal of an operator of the vehicle, and a step of displaying a notification related to an operation of the air conditioner on a screen of the mobile terminal while the air conditioner is operated according to the operation instruction, the step being a step in which the notification related to the operation of the air conditioner is continuously displayed on the screen without being deleted by a predetermined operation of the mobile terminal by the operator when the mobile terminal is located outside the vehicle.

Method and system for operating in-vehicle air conditioner

A charge support system is provided for a plurality of autonomously movable vehicles, each including a solar cell panel and a storage battery for storing electricity from the solar panel. The system includes an acquisition unit that obtains information regarding vehicles parked within a predetermined parking area, including charging efficiencies of the solar panels, current charging rates of the storage batteries, and scheduled driving times for each vehicle. A traveling control unit is configured to move the vehicles within the parking area based on the acquired information. The system prioritizes movement of vehicles with earlier scheduled driving times to areas of higher charging efficiency to ensure their storage batteries reach a predetermined charge threshold. Additionally, for vehicles without scheduled driving times, the system periodically moves the vehicles to equalize battery charge levels within a specified error range. This enables efficient solar charging across multiple vehicles in a shared parking environment.

A solar panel includes: a cell group in which a plurality of solar cells is arranged in one direction; and a connecting element for electrically connecting the solar cells to each other. A luggage delivery management system manages a service of delivering luggage deposited by a user to a destination specified by the user. The luggage delivery management system acquires payment amount information indicating an amount equivalent to a payment amount paid by the user for the service. When multiple pieces of luggage of a plurality of the users are delivered by one vehicle, the luggage delivery management system determines whether to set priority of the multiple pieces of luggage. The luggage delivery management system sets the priority of the luggage of the user who pays more to be higher based on the payment amount information when the priority is set. Then, the luggage delivery management system sets a luggage delivery route of the vehicle such that the multiple pieces of luggage are delivered to the destinations in accordance with the priority.

Semiconductor particles are used as a photocatalyst for inducing a water-splitting reaction where water molecules decompose into oxygen molecules and hydrogen molecules by addition of a co-catalyst and light irradiation, the semiconductor particles including strontium titanate doped with scandium. A synthesis method of a semiconductor for the photocatalyst includes a synthesis step of synthesizing the semiconductor particles including strontium titanate doped with scandium by mixing strontium chloride (SrCl), strontium titanate (SrTiO), and scandium oxide (ScO) and firing the mixture.
