The vehicle control device determines, based on the driving environment information, whether to continue or terminate the abnormality notification processing after termination of the vehicle stop control.

The enabling condition relates to driving control of the vehicle and is not imposed before the execution of the function. A vehicle travel support system includes: an information acquisition device that uses a sensor to acquire surrounding situation information; and a vehicle travel control device that controls travel of a vehicle. When a lane change to an adjacent lane is necessary, the vehicle travel control device uses the surrounding situation information to determine whether or not there is a lane restriction item indicating that entry into the adjacent lane is restricted. When there is the lane restriction item, the vehicle travel control device sets a zone of the adjacent lane including a position of the lane restriction item and having a predetermined distance as a no-entry zone. The vehicle travel control device prohibits the lane change until the vehicle passes through a side of the no-entry zone and permits the lane change after the vehicle passes through the side of the no-entry zone.

In an electronic control unit, a traveling mode switching control unit switches a traveling mode from an N mode to a B mode when a shift lever is operated to a B operation position while the traveling mode is the N mode and the vehicle is traveling forward. Accordingly, during forward coast traveling in the N mode, the traveling mode is switched from the N mode to the B mode by an operation in one direction of the shift lever to a B operation position without requiring operations in two directions of the shift lever to a D operation position. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a driver from experiencing difficulty in operating the shift lever at the time of switching the traveling mode from the N mode to the B mode during forward coast traveling in the N mode.

A vehicle includes an electric power reception unit, a motive power generation apparatus generating on an output shaft a drive force for moving the vehicle, and a vehicle ECU controlling the motive power generation apparatus. The motive power generation apparatus includes a parking gear provided on the output shaft, a parking pole having a protrusion to be fit in a groove of the parking gear, and a drive unit outputting the drive force. The vehicle ECU controls the drive unit so that in a case where the electric power reception unit is located within an area in which electric power can be received from the electric power transmission apparatus and where the motive power generation apparatus has been set to a parking range, the vehicle is moved in a direction that causes the electric power reception unit to approach the electric power transmission apparatus.
