In an inverter generator controller, residual charge of a battery is detected and generated power output is detected. Then, low-load charging of the battery is implemented if the detected generated power output of the engine generator unit is equal to or greater than the detected load output demand and the detected generated power output of the engine generator unit is less than the predetermined low-load value a, when the detected residual charge of the battery is equal to or less than the first threshold value. When the detected residual charge of the battery becomes greater than the first threshold value, the low-load charging of the battery is terminated.

Hybrid-type engine generator controller

In an output control of a hybrid-type engine generator equipped with a load output demand detecting unit, a load output demand increase/decrease determination unit and an output control unit, a configuration is adopted whereby load output demand from (output required by) the load is detected, increase/decrease of the detected load output demand is determined, discharge power from the battery is added to generated power output of the engine generator unit when detected load output demand is determined to be increasing, and output of the engine generator unit is controlled so as to use some generated power output of the engine generator unit as charge power of the battery when detected load output demand is determined to be decreasing.

Hybrid-type engine generator output controller

A work machine handle device having a foldable handle is disclosed. As the handle is to be changed from a folded-up state to a use state, the handle is turned about a frame as a turning fulcrum. An actuating protuberance provided integrally to a turning member of a clamp body is pushed by a handle engaging/disengaging part provided to a front end of the handle, and the turning member is caused to turn. The handle engaging/disengaging part is held from either side and automatically restrained by a clamp mechanism. When the handle is changed from the use state to the folded-up state, a restraining mechanism is operated to release the engagement between the restraining mechanism and a distal end of the turning member. The turning member is turned by a return force of a spring provided to the clamp body, the handle engaging/disengaging part ceases to be restrained, and the handle can be folded up.

Handle device of work machine

A work machine handle device includes a handle foldable relative to a frame. The frame has a handle support part about which the handle turns. The handle intersects the handle support part. Left and right attachment parts, which are portions where the handle intersects the handle support part, are supported by a handle turning mechanism with suitable pressure.

Soundproof enclosed type generator

In an engine-driven power generator, a fan-equipped flywheel and a drive shaft of a power generation section are connected to a crankshaft of an engine, and the power generation section is driven by the drive shaft being driven via the crankshaft. The fan-equipped flywheel is disposed between a crankcase of the engine and the power generation section, and small- and large-diameter cooling fans for cooling the engine and power generation section are provided on the fan-equipped flywheel.

Engine driven power generator

Engine-driven power generator includes: a power generation section having a drive shaft connected to a crankshaft; a gas-liquid separation unit provided upstream of the power generation section and having an air inlet port for taking in cooling air, the inlet port being disposed immediately under a fuel tank, the separation unit separating moisture from the taken-in air; and a cooling fan rotatable by the drive shaft to direct the taken-in air into the power generation section.

Engine-driven power generator with gas-liquid separation unit

An engine and a generator driven by the engine are resiliently supported on a frame. A duct member is integrally attached to the engine and the generator to define a continuous cooling-air passage between the duct member and outer peripheral surfaces of the engine and the generator. A cooling fan is disposed on an inlet side of the cooling-air passage. A silencing plate is integrally attached to the duct member and faces an inlet of the cooling-air passage with a ventilation gap defined therebetween. The silencing plate has an area opposing the inlet that is larger than an opening area of the inlet.

Engine-driven work machine resiliently supported on a frame

An engine-driven work machine is provided in which an engine/work machine unit () is housed in a box () and a cooling fan () for generating a flow of cooling air from an air inlet () to an air outlet () via the surroundings of the engine/work machine unit () is disposed within the box (), wherein a gas/liquid separation chamber () for restricting the flow of cooling air is provided between the air inlet () and the engine/work machine unit (), and the gas/liquid separation chamber () is provided with a first wall face () for changing upward flow of cooling air into a lateral direction after it has collided with the first wall face () and a second wall face () for changing the lateral direction of flow into an obliquely downward direction. This enables mist contained in cooling air taken into the box to be separated and removed effectively before the cooling air reaches the surroundings of the engine/generator unit.

Engine-driven work machine

An engine-driven work machine is provided in which an engine/work machine unit () and an exhaust muffler () are housed in a box (), the box () is provided with a cooling air passage () that passes the area around the engine/work machine unit () and the exhaust muffler (), and a cooling fan () driven by the engine () is disposed in the cooling air passage (), wherein the box () is provided with blocking means () for blocking the cooling air passage () between the engine () and the exhaust muffler () when running of the engine () is stopped. The heat of the high temperature exhaust muffler can thus be prevented from affecting the engine/work machine unit even when running of the engine is stopped, while maintaining the soundproofing of the box housing the unit, etc.

A duct member is disposed around outer peripheries of an engine and an engine-driven generator to define a continuous cooling-air passage between the duct member and the outer peripheries. A cooling fan is disposed in the cooling-air passage to generate a flow of cooling air from one end of the cooling-air passage to the other end during operation of the engine. An intake box is connected to one end of the cooling-air passage and has an air-intake port. A muffler box is connected to the other end of the cooling-air passage, has an air-discharge port, and accommodates an exhaust muffler of the engine. A sound-insulating housing is connected between the intake box and the muffler box to surround the duct member in order to insulate sound emitted from the duct member.

A duct member is disposed around outer peripheries of an engine and an engine-driven generator to define a continuous cooling-air passage between the duct member and the outer peripheries. A cooling fan is disposed in the cooling-air passage to generate a flow of cool air from one end of the cooling-air passage to the other end during operation of the engine. An exhaust muffler of the engine is disposed in the vicinity of the other end of the cooling-air passage. An air guide plate is connected to the duct member and is suspended from an upper portion of the duct member to cover an upper portion of one side face of the exhaust muffler which is opposite the cooling-air passage so that the air guide plate guides the cooling air flowing out of the cooling-air passage downward along the one side face of the exhaust muffler.
