A method for assembling a stator structure of a motor comprises providing a stator coil and a stator frame. The stator coil has a wire with an end segment and the stator frame includes a connector and a conductor. The conductor has an open-barrel crimping portion and a temporary holding portion. The method further comprises positioning the end segment of the wire in the crimping portion and a tip end of the end segment in the temporary holding portion. The method further comprises crimping the crimping portion to the end segment of the wire to electrically connect the connector and the end segment of the wire by penetrating an insulating coating of the end segment.

A connector comprises a housing and a lock connected to the housing. The lock has a base extending in a mating direction, a bend extending continuously from a rear end of the base in the mating direction and formed in a U-shape, and a press-fitting protrusion extending from an end of the bend opposite the base. The bend has a bend face facing in the mating direction and is separated from the housing by a bend gap. The press-fitting protrusion is press-fitted in the housing.

Connector

A connector assembly is provided and includes receptacle connector and a header connector. The receptacle connector includes a connector housing with a receptacle contact, a fastener, and a lock. The fastener includes a fastening section fixed at an outer end portion thereof. The lock attaches to the connector housing and is movable along a length thereof. The header connector is engageable with the receptacle connector and includes a header contact that is connectable with the receptacle contact, a header housing, and an elastic fastener. The header housing has an engagement portion to which the header contact is attached and that engages the connector housing, and the elastic fastener extends outward from the engagement portion of the header housing.

Connector Assembly

A connector is provided and includes a barrel, an end bell, an assembly nut, and a securing mechanism. The end bell includes a spring arm and a seat portion. The assembly nut includes a projection disposed on the seat portion and engaging the spring arm to couple the barrel to the end bell. The securing mechanism secures the barrel and the assembly nut to each other.

A terminal block is disclosed having a leaf spring, a contact, a cam member, and a spring member. The contact is positioned adjacent to the leaf spring and has a contact seat. The contact seat has a projection extending towards the leaf spring and is positionable in a hole of a ring terminal inserted into the terminal block. The cam member is in rotatable contact with the leaf spring, has a rotational axis extending in a direction of insertion of the ring terminal, and when in contact with the leaf spring, presses the leaf spring against the contact. The spring member is located closer to the leaf spring than the contact seat and biased against the inserted ring terminal.

A slide member is positioned on the housing and is slideable along a longitudinal axis to the mating end and engageable with the lock in a lock position, and being slideable along the longitudinal axis to a terminal end of the housing in an unlock position.

A connector adapted to: (a) extend through an opening in a board to protrude from both a top surface of the board and a bottom surface of the board, (b) secure the connector to the board, and (c) electrically connect a power supply to a terminal on the board. The connector includes a housing having: (a) a leg section, (b) a head section at a first end of the leg section of the housing, and (c) a receiving recess at a second end of the leg section adapted to receive the power supply board. This connector also includes an elastically deformable retainer piece having: a) a cantilever spring section fixed at a first end to the leg section of the housing and adapted to be below the bottom surface of the board, and (b) an apex section at a second end of the cantilever spring section adapted to bear against the bottom surface of the board. This connector further includes an elastically deformable contact protruding from the head section of the housing adapted to contact the terminal of the board.

A connector includes a surface mount contact and housing. The surface mount contact has a cylindrical portion, a lance, and a pair of surface mount soldering portions. The cylindrical portion has a cylindrical shape into which a wire core of an electrical wire is inserted. The lance is positioned in an intermediate portion of the cylindrical portion along an axial direction thereof and secures the wire core when the electrical wire is inserted. The pair of surface mount soldering portions project from the cylindrical portion. Each of the pair of surface mount soldering portions extend from an end of the cylindrical portion in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction.
