A position detection system is provided in which it is possible to inhibit deterioration in accuracy of detecting a position of a terminal after communication environment is changed even in a case where the communication environment is changed in the position detection system. In the position detection system, a first terminal measures radio wave intensity of radio waves from a plurality of wireless connection devices in the first terminal, and transmits a measurement result to a position detection server through each of the wireless connection devices. A second terminal is disposed in a prescribed position, measures the radio wave intensity of the radio waves from the plurality of wireless connection devices in the prescribed position, generates first reference data including information of the measured radio wave intensity, and transmits the first reference data to the position detection server through the wireless connection devices. The position detection server receives the measurement result and the first reference data, updates the first reference data, which is maintained in a memory in advance, with the received first reference data, and estimates a position of the first terminal based on the measurement result, the updated first reference data, and positional information of the second terminal.

Position detection system and position detection method

Provided is a sensor network system including sensor master devices (A toD) which receive detection information obtained by sensors (A toF) through wireless communication, a data server () which acquires the detection information from the sensor master devices (A toD) through power line communication, and notification devices (A,B) which receive notification information from the data server () to perform notification, in which the sensor master devices (A toD) are connected to the sensors (A toF) and the notification devices (A,B), and the data server () determines an object to be notified in accordance with, for example, a detection position which is detection information for at least one of an object to be notified and notification contents, on the basis of the acquired detection information.

Sensor network system

A position detection system is provided which is capable of inhibiting an increase in system costs and improving accuracy of detecting a position of a terminal. In the position detection system, a first terminal measures radio waves from a wireless connection device or a second terminal, and transmits a measurement result to a position detection server through the wireless connection device. The position detection server estimates that the first terminal is located in a position of the second terminal which has transmitted the radio waves in a case where the measurement result includes information of the radio waves from the second terminal, and estimates the position of the first terminal based on information of radio wave intensity of the radio waves from the wireless connection device, which is included in the measurement result, reference data, and positional information of the second terminal in a case where the measurement result does not include the information of the radio waves from the second terminal.

A communication device for transmitting data to an other communication device via a transmission channel, includes a communication characteristic acquisition section which acquires a communication characteristic of the transmission channel, and a frame length control section which controls a frame length of a communication frame storing the data based on the communication characteristic of the transmission channel.

A wave detecting section of a receiver has a first wavelet transformer involving a plurality of wavelet filters orthogonal to each other for performing a wavelet transform on received waveform data, a Hilbert transformer for performing a Hilbert transform on the received waveform data, a second wavelet transformer having the same configuration as that of the first wavelet transformer for performing a wavelet transform on outputs from the Hilbert transformer, a code converter for inverting the codes of outputs in odd-numbered places among outputs from the second wavelet transformer, a level converter for correcting fluctuations of outputs from the code converter attributable to a ripple of the Hilbert transformer, and a complex data generator for generating complex data, by defining outputs of the first wavelet transformer as in-phase components of the complex information and outputs from the level converter as orthogonal components of the complex information.

A communication apparatus has an A/D converter which converts an analog signal which was received, into a digital signal, a converter which converts a reception signal so as to enable handling of phase information, a carrier detector which detects presence or absence of the reception signal, a synchronous circuit which extract synchronization timing from the reception signal, an equalizer which corrects the reception signal so as to cancel influence of a transmission path, a channel estimator which estimates a state of a power line channel, and a decision unit which decides the reception signal, which was amended by the equalizer, by use of a threshold value.

A diversity tone map generator generates a tope map associated with the lowest primary modulation scheme, based on output from the diversity circuit. A tone map generator generates a tone map associated with primary modulation schemes applied to respective sub-carriers, based on output from the diversity tone map generator.

A receiving apparatus and method for performing carrier detection in a frequency domain for a digital wavelet multi-carrier transmission. A wavelet transform of received data is performed to output complex data and then the complex data is delayed for one sampling period. Subsequently, the delayed complex data and delayed complex data are divided. A number of the divided complex data present within each of plural quadrants on orthogonal coordinates is calculated and a maximum number of data present within one of the quadrants is selected and compared with a threshold in order to decide whether the received data is intended data.
