The present invention aims at providing a cover structure of a tactile sensor and a tactile sensor that can secure sufficient adhesion between a sensor body and a covering layer without providing an adhesive layer and have no possibility of causing a sensor to make detection error due to the covering layer formed thereon. A cover structure of a tactile sensor according to the present invention includes a sensor bodyand a covering layermade of elastic body molded on the sensor body. The covering layerincludes at least two layers of an outer layerdisposed as the outermost layer and an inner layerdisposed to come in contact with the sensor bodyand having a higher adhesiveness and a lower hardness than those of the outer layer, and is integrally molded with the sensor bodyby the cast molding. It is preferable that the sensor bodybe disposed on the top surface of the base, the covering layercover over the sensor bodyand the base, and the inner layerdo not cover the bottom surface of the base

An extensible flexible printed circuit board sets one or a plurality of flexible printed circuit boards each including a plurality of conductive layers and an insulating layer as a base circuit board, and includes: component mounting parts which are provided at least at parts of the base circuit board, and capable of mounting electronic components; an extensible conductive part which is provided at least at a part of the base circuit board, includes a plurality of joint parts each intersecting a center line in an extension/contraction direction and a plurality of curved parts each continuing from an end part of each joint part and curve, and exhibits extensibility by the curved parts curving to open or close; and a covering member whose material is a flexibly deformable elastomer, and which covers the component mounting parts and the extensible conductive part.

Provided is a pressure sensing element configured to be flexible, and capable of demonstrating a stable electrical reliability over a long period; and, a pressure sensor having such pressure sensing element. Provided is a highly reliable flexible circuit body in which a flexible wiring board is prevented from wear caused by rubbing, and a method for production of the flexible circuit body. A flexible circuit body includes a flexible wiring board having an insulating film, a wiring layer formed on the insulating film, and an insulating layer formed on the wiring layer. The flexible wiring board is coated with a thermoplastic elastomer.

A tactile sense presentation device is provided which is simple in structure, and is able to give a real tactile sense to a human body by causing electrical stimulation to effectively act thereon, while holding original human tactile sense. The electric tactile sense presentation device includes an electrode substrate adapted to be worn on a human body so as to be in contact with a skin, and a multitude of electrodes formed on a contact surface of the electrode substrate for contact with the skin to present a tactile sense by means of electrical stimulation, wherein the electrode substrate is composed of a flexible circuit body which is flexible to enable a portion thereof in contact with a real object to flexibly deform so as to conform to deformation of the skin, and it is configured such that electrical stimulation by the electrodes is superimposed on the tactile sense of a human being, while maintaining the human tactile sense.

A pressure sensor comprising: a base film on which a conductor pattern having one or more electrodes is formed; a cover film laminated on the base film so as to cover the electrodes of the conductor pattern; and a spacer disposed between the cover film and the base film so as to form a hollow portion having a predetermined gap between the electrode and the cover film; wherein a portion corresponding to the hollow portion of the cover film is constructed such that it has a pressure sensing part which is able to deform in a direction to move toward and away from the electrode in accordance with pressure, and of which contact resistance changes in accordance with a contact pressure thereof with the electrode, so that the pressure sensing part detects the pressure by a change of the contact resistance.
