A vehicle includes a battery, a rotating electric machine, an electric power conversion device, a charging device, and a control device. When the battery is charged, the charging device supplies direct-current power to a neutral point of the rotating electric machine, and the rotating electric machine and the electric power conversion device boost the direct-current power and supply the power to the battery. During traveling, the control device predicts a traveling time to a charging place, and executes a control that restrains rise in the temperature of a charging group in a case where the predicted traveling time is equal to or shorter than a criterion time and where a condition is satisfied, the condition being a condition that temperatures of the battery, the rotating electric machine and the electric power conversion device that are included in the charging group is higher than a criterion temperature.

A control device for a vehicle continuously variable transmission that includes: an input-side variable pulley of which an effective diameter is variable; an output-side variable pulley of which an effective diameter is variable; a transmission belt that is wound between the input-side variable pulley and the output-side variable pulley; and a check valve that, on the basis of a first pressure that is one of an input-side pressure applied to the input-side variable pulley and an output-side pressure applied to the output-side variable pulley, regulates a second pressure that is the other one of the input-side pressure and the output-side pressure includes: a control unit that, when the second pressure is regulated by the check valve, controls the first pressure on the basis of a pressure required to suppress a slip of the transmission belt and a pressure required to achieve a target speed ratio.

When a rotational speed of a secondary pulley is less than a first reference value, the disclosed electronic control device implements lower limit hydraulic control to adjust the hydraulic pressure of a primary pulley to be at a lower limit hydraulic pressure. When the rotational speed is equal to or exceeds the first reference value, but is less than a second reference value, the electronic control device implements balanced hydraulic control to adjust the hydraulic pressure to be more than the lower limit hydraulic pressure. When the rotational speed is equal to or exceeds the second reference value, the electronic control device implements feedback control to correct the hydraulic pressure on the basis of the size of the difference between a target transmission gear ratio and a transmission gear ratio, calculated on the basis of rotational speeds detected by each rotational speed sensor.

Disclosed is an electronic controller which calculates the variable amounts of the thrust in a primary pulley based on the thrusts of the pulleys, the lower limit thrust and the upper limit thrust in the steps of a target change gear ratio limit routine. The electronic controller calculates the limit transmission speeds based on the variable amounts in the steps, and calculates the guard values for limiting the target change gear ratio based on the limit transmission speeds in the steps. An electronic controller limits the target change gear ratio by the guard values thus calculated, and controls the thrusts of the pulleys by feedback control based on the size of discrepancy of the limited target change gear ratio and the current change gear ratio &#x3b3;.

A control apparatus for a vehicular power transmitting apparatus includes a first valve that controls the supply of hydraulic fluid to a running clutch in connection with the switching of the operating state of a first solenoid valve; a second valve that controls the supply of hydraulic fluid to a lockup clutch in connection with the switching of the operating state of a second solenoid valve; and a linear solenoid valve that selectively controls the apply force of the running clutch and the lockup clutch according to the supply of control pressure to the first valve and the second valve. The control apparatus detects a failure state of a part related to the operation of the power transmitting apparatus by the operating state of the running clutch and the operating state of the lockup clutch.

Control apparatus for vehicular power transmitting apparatus

The invention relates to a controller for a vehicle having installed thereon a drive power source, a transmission, and a torque converter that is equipped with a lockup clutch and is provided between the drive power source and the transmission. The controller includes a detection unit that detects an actual revolution speed of the drive power source, and a control unit that controls the lockup clutch so that a state of the lockup clutch becomes any state from among a disengaged state, an engaged state, and a slip state. When executing a slip control, the control unit compares the actual revolution speed with the target revolution speed, and feedback controls a transmission torque of the lockup clutch on the basis of a comparison result of the actual revolution speed and a target revolution speed so as to cause the actual revolution speed to follow the target revolution speed.
