Provided is a PSA sheet having a PSA layer. The PSA layer includes a layer A forming at least one surface thereof. The PSA sheet has an adhesive strength N0 of 2.0 N/10 mm or greater, after one day at room temperature following application of the layer A side to a surface of an alkaline float glass plate as an adherend having a contact angle of 5°-10° with distilled water; has an N1 to N0 reduction rate of 30% or lower, wherein N1 is a water-resistant adhesive strength measured after stored at room temperature for one day, immersed in water for 30 minutes, taken out from the water and then residual water is wiped off, and has an N2 to NO reduction rate of 40% or higher, wherein N2 is a water-peel strength measured after stored at room temperature for one day, 20 μL distilled water is dropped onto the adherend and is allowed to enter a PSA layer/adherend interfacial edge. N2 is measured at a tensile speed of 300 mm/min at a peel angle of 180°.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and method for peeling pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet

Provided is a method for peeling a PSA sheet adhered on a polarizing plate. The PSA sheet has a PSA layer. The PSA layer includes a layer A forming at least one surface of the PSA layer. Of the polarizing plate, the surface to which the PSA sheet is adhered is corona-treated or plasma-treated. The peeling method includes a water-peel step in which the PSA sheet is peeled from the polarizing plate, in a state where an aqueous liquid exits at the interface between the polarizing plate and the PSA sheet at the front line of peeling the PSA sheet from the polarizing plate, with the aqueous liquid allowed to further enter the interface following the movement of the peel front line.

The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is a sheet shaped pressure sensitive adhesive including an acryl-based base polymer. The acryl-based base polymer contains an acryl-based segment and a urethane-based segment, and a content of the urethane-based segment is 3 to 30 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the acryl-based segment. The urethane-based segment includes at least one urethane chain selected from the group consisting of a polyether urethane and a polyester urethane. The content of the urethane-based segment other than the polyether urethane-based segment is 15 parts by weight or less based on 100 parts by weight of the acryl-based segment.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an optical film-forming pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, which can reduce the problem with visibility without a reduction in productivity, such as a reduction in coating speed. A method for manufacturing an optical film-forming pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, comprising the steps of: (1) applying, to a release film, an aqueous dispersion-type pressure-sensitive adhesive including an aqueous dispersion containing a (meth)acryl-based polymer in the form of an aqueous dispersion; and (2) drying the applied aqueous dispersion-type pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the aqueous dispersion-type pressure-sensitive adhesive has a viscosity of 0.01 Pa&#xb7;s to 0.1 Pa&#xb7;s at a shear rate of 4,000 (l/s), the optical film-forming pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on the release film has a surface roughness (Ra) of 10 nm to 40 nm, and the optical film-forming pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a haze of 1% or less.

The aqueous dispersion adhesive composition contains an aqueous dispersion copolymer obtained by reacting of a reaction component containing alkyl (meth)acrylate whose linear or branched alkyl group has 4 to 18 carbon atoms, (meth)acrylic acid, a phosphoric acid group-containing vinyl monomer and an alkoxysilyl group-containing vinyl monomer to react; and a crosslinking agent having reactivity with a carboxyl group. In the aqueous dispersion adhesive composition, an amount of the crosslinking agent is from 0.07 to 4 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the aqueous dispersion copolymer, and in an adhesive layer made of the aqueous dispersion adhesive composition, an elongation at 90&#xb0; C. is 200% or less.
