A spinneret () for electrostatic spinning is configured from a structure of an electrically conductive metal material. The structure is provided with a long-axis direction (X), a short-axis direction (Z), and a thickness direction (Y). An inflow port () for a spinning starting material fluid is provided to one surface of the structure. A plurality of protrusions () are formed on another surface of the structure so as to be aligned along the long-axis direction (X). Each of the plurality of protrusion () extends so as to protrude from the structure. The protrusions () have, provided to apexes () thereof, discharge holes () for discharging the starting material fluid. The pitch of the discharge holes () exceeds 1 mm.

A composite material as a sheet material is described, being relatively cheap, most useful as a raw material of a sanitary product or the like, such as underwear, dust-proof mask or dispensable paper diaper, etc., and good in processability, stretchability, gas-permeability, softness, and touch. The composite material is formed by laminating a stretchable layer and a conjugate spunbonded nonwoven fabric including conjugate fibers including a low-melting-point component and a high-melting-point component. The conjugate fibers are partially bonded to each other by thermocompression, wherein each bonded portion has fine folded structures including alternate hill and valley regions in the CD, and the distance between neighboring hills is 100-400 &#x3bc;m in average. The conjugate spunbonded nonwoven fabric exhibits stretchability through the spread of the fine folded structures, and has, at 5% elongation, a CD-strength of 0.1 N/5 cm or less and an MD/CD strength ratio of 200 or more.

A spinneret device for side-by-side, conjugate melt-blow spinning can correspond to combinations of various heterogeneous polymers for conjugate spinning and is uniform in the conjugate state such as conjugate ratio between single fibers, the proportion of the peripheral percentage of both the components in the fiber cross-section, etc. and has fineness, a large nozzle plate width and a superior productivity. The device is composed mainly of a spinning resin-feeding plate; a distributing plate; a separating plate provided with confluent grooves of conjugate components engraved at the bottom part of the plate, corresponding in number to the spinning nozzles; a nozzle plate; and a plate for controlling the clearance for a gas. Even when the viscosity unevenness, spinning temperature unevenness, etc. of the spinning resins occur in the cavity of the nozzle plate to some extent, microfine fibers can be obtained which are uniform in the composite ratio and the cross-sectional, peripheral percentages of the respective components in the fiber cross-section, while being uniformly fine.

Spinneret device for conjugate melt-blow spinning

A fiber bundle comprising a plurality of composite fibers spun out of a spinneret is blown against a working net conveyor by a drawing force of a high-speed air stream while the air stream is sucked and removed from below the net conveyor to deposit the fiber bundle on the net conveyor to form a web, and the web is then heat-treated to develop crimps and the fibers thermally adhere together at their points of contact, thereby obtaining a nonwoven fabric, wherein the air stream is blown against the web from below the net conveyor for a time before the heat-treatment, with an intensity sufficient to make the web to float in such a manner that the bottom face of the web rise above the net conveyor by 0.2 to 30 mm.
