To make it easier to perform an in-depth analysis by presenting to a user which feature value influences and how it influences an objective variable in a case of automatically generating feature values. For each of a plurality of feature values, by determining a division point indicating a change in influence on an objective variable, each feature value is divided into a plurality of segments and an evaluation value is calculated using an influence degree of each segment on the objective variable as an index. The segments of the feature values for which the evaluation values have been calculated are displayed on a monitor.

Data analyzing device

To enable effectively narrowing down features to be generated, thereby generating effective features at a high speed, in obtaining the features from a large volume of data. A fixed rule and an additional rule are stored in advance. The fixed rule specifies a rule of a calculation operation for generating a new feature. The additional rule specifies whether to perform a calculation operation for generating the new feature on a basis of meta-information, not depending on whether the fixed rule is applicable. An objective variable is predicted from plurality of features on the basis of the fixed rule and the additional rule.

Data analyzing device and data analyzing method

To make it possible to determine in advance the propriety of a measure by simulating a change of an objective variable due to a change of a value of a feature value. A prediction model for predicting an objective variable is generated based on feature values of a plurality of attributes included in analysis target data. An adjustment of a representative value of a feature value is received based on a user's operation input. The feature values of the plurality of attributes are changed according to adjustment amount of the representative value, and the numeric value of the objective variable is recalculated from the prediction model and displayed on a monitor.

A data analyzing device generates a diagram that shows a relationship between a first feature and an objective variable. [Means to solve the problems] An upper limit of an exposure time of an imaging part as a restriction condition for reading a code attached to a workpiece is calculated based on a moving speed of the workpiece, which is inputted by an input part, and a cell size, which is calculated by a cell size calculation part. An exposure time of the imaging part is set within the restriction condition by analyzing a plurality of images, which includes a code and is obtained by taking images multiple times by changing the exposure time of the imaging part.

[Object] To enhance a reading accuracy of a code even when a light amount, which can be received by an imaging element, varies greatly. [Means to solve the problems] A plurality of second images in response to a plurality of different conversion characteristics is generated by using the first image obtained at the time of setting of an optical information reading device. The results, in which codes included in the generated second images are respectively decoded by a decoding part, are analyzed, and one of the conversion characteristics is selected. The second image in response to the selected conversion characteristic is generated by using the first image at the time of operation of the optical information reading device.

The present invention provides a portable optical reader, an optical reading method using the portable optical reader and a computer program capable of detecting a high possibility of a reading error and notifying a user of a possibility of a reading error. A character string as a reading target is imaged and a character string is recognized based on the captured image. A plurality of reading formats defining an attribute of the character string is stored, and a first reading format matched with the recognized character string among a plurality of stored reading format is searched. Among the plurality of stored reading formats, a second reading format in which a character string matched with the first reading format as a partial character string is searched. Based on the search result, a possibility of a reading error regarding the recognized character string is notified.
