the slide device and the portable equipment are equipped with a base member mounted on either one of a first casing and a second casing being components of a portable equipment, a slider member slidably mounted on either other one of the first casing and the second casing, and urging means provided between the slider member and the base member for slidably urging the base member and the slider member in a closing and/or an opening direction, and a slide engagement portion includes a plurality of guide rail portions provided on the slider member, a guide long hole provided outside a plurality of the guide rail portions on the slider member and extending in a slide direction, engagement portions provided on the base member and respectively engaged with each of the guide rail portions, and a slide guide portion engaged with the guide long hole.

Slide mechanism of portable equipment and portable equipment

To attain a slide mechanism of a portable terminal device which, having a minimal number of parts and keeping the same function as that of a conventional one, enables a substantial production cost reduction, a mechanism relatively slides a first casing and a second casing in a state that the casings are laid over each other in a vertical direction, and is constituted with: a slide case mounted on either one of the first casing and the second casing; a slider slidably accommodated in the slide case and mounted on the other one of the first casing and the second casing; and a resilient means resiliently disposed between the slider and the slide case. The slide case is formed as an integral structure with a guide groove which extends to both ends in a longitudinal direction with the one end thereof being opened. Additionally the slider has a shape which enables the slider to be inserted into the guide groove in an engaged state from the open end side. Also, the slide case is further provided with a stopper portion preventing the slider from coming off after the slider is inserted into the guide groove.

Slide mechanism

A mechanism for sliding relatively in the longitudinal direction the first case and the second case in their superposed state in order to provide a sliding mechanism for mobile terminals that can be produced at a low cost wherein the use of a single sliding module is sufficient, the total length of this sliding module can be shortened to avoid its exposure from the case during use, the locking plate and the sliding cover that constitute the sliding case of the sliding module are not welded but are simply engaged so that the entire construction of the sliding mechanism may be simplified. This sliding mechanism includes a pair of engaging grooves provided on the surface or at specified intervals in the longitudinal direction of both sides of any one of the first case or the second case, a pair of sliding parts provided on any other one of the first case and the second case engaged slidably with these engaging grooves, a sliding module fixed on any one of the first case or the second case, a sliding case comprising a sliding cover and a locking plate wherein this sliding module is mutually superposed and fixed, a slider slidably housed by pressurized contact in this sliding case, a locking means provided between this slider and the sliding case, and a fixing pin fixed on the slider and piercing through a guiding long hole provided on the sliding case and protruding out of the sliding case, wherein this fixing pin is fixed on any other one of the first case or the second case.

Sliding mechanism and mobile terminal

A hinge device of a portable terminal connects a keyboard member to a comparatively massive display member and has cam and friction mechanisms. The cam mechanism has a fixing cam for axially receiving a shaft which extends into a cam case having a rotation arresting mechanism fixed on the shaft, a slider cam provided slidably in a manner to confront the fixing cam restrained in its rotation by the cam case, and an elastic mechanism for pressing the slider cam toward the fixing cam. The friction mechanism has a friction ring attached to the shaft and fitted into the friction case under pressure with a rotatable rotation arresting mechanism, so that both of automatic close lock function from a predetermined closed angle between the first and second members and a free stop function when opening and closing operation of the first and second members can be realized together without strain.

Hinge device

A hinge device of a portable intelligence terminal, which connects a first member having a keyboard and a second member composed of a comparatively massive display device in an openable and closable manner as well as possible includes a cam mechanism and a friction mechanism coaxially on a shaft. The cam mechanism is structured with a fixing cam provided by allowing a shaft to insert through axially at each central portion into a cam case having a rotation arresting means fixed on the shaft, a slider cam provided slidably in a manner to confront to the fixing cam, being restrained its rotation by the cam case, and an elastic means to press the slider cam toward the fixing cam side, and the friction mechanism is structured with a friction ring attached to the shaft and fitted into the friction case with pressure having a rotation arresting means attached to the shaft in a manner to be rotatable, so that both of automatic closed lock function from a predetermined closed angle between the first and second members and a free stop function when opening and closing operation of the first and second members can be realized together without strain.
