A brake control device includes an operating switch and a control part. The operating switch is configured to be turned on when operated by a user. The operating switch is configured to be turned off when released from being operated by the user. The control part executes first brake processing for stopping the mobile object when the operating switch is switched off from on during traveling of a mobile object.

Brake control device

A thermal dissipation structure includes a housing, a thermal dissipation mechanism, and a seal member. The housing accommodates a heat-generating element. The thermal dissipation mechanism includes a thermal transfer part and a thermal dissipation part. The thermal transfer part is disposed inside the housing. The thermal transfer part is configured to transfer heat generated by the heat-generating element. The thermal dissipation part is disposed outside the housing. The seal member seals between the housing and the thermal dissipation mechanism.

Thermal dissipation structure and drive unit

It is intended to sufficiently apply a wheel pressure to a drive wheel. An upper unit is configured to be attached to a mobile object. A drive wheel is disposed to be movable in an up-and-down direction with respect to the upper unit. A drive source is configured to drive the drive wheel. A support arm is pivotably attached to the upper unit. The support arm extends slantingly downward from the upper unit. The support arm supports the drive wheel. An urging mechanism urges the support arm downward.

Drive unit

A mobile object control device controls an electric motor assisting traveling of a mobile object. The mobile object control device includes a rolling resistance calculation section, a power loss calculation section, and an assist force calculation section. The rolling resistance calculation section calculates a rolling resistance based on a set weight set by a user. The power loss calculation section calculates a power loss caused until a power outputted from the electric motor is transmitted to a drive wheel. The assist force calculation section calculates an assist force of the electric motor based on an acceleration of the mobile object, the set weight, the rolling resistance calculated by the rolling resistance calculation section, the power loss calculated by the power loss calculation section, and an assist ratio.

Mobile object control device

A drive unit includes a support frame, a drive wheel and a prime mover. The support frame is disposed to be pivotable about a pivot axis. The drive wheel is supported by the support frame. The prime mover is supported by the support frame. The prime mover drives the drive wheel. The support frame and at least one member form a pivot unit. The at least one member pivots together with the support frame. The pivot unit has a center of gravity disposed on the opposite side of the pivot axis with respect to the drive wheel.

An assist control device controls an electric motor assisting traveling of a mobile object. The assist control device includes an operating switch and a control part. The operating switch is configured to be turned on when operated by a user. The operating switch is configured to be turned off when released from being operated by the user. The control part controls the electric motor to output an assist force when the operating switch is turned on.

Assist control device

A drive unit attached to a mobile entity is disclosed. The drive unit includes a motor, a first detector, and a controller. The first detector detects vehicle speed information regarding a vehicle speed of the mobile entity. The controller performs PWM control for the motor. The controller controls a duty cycle of a PWM signal in accordance with the vehicle speed information detected by the first detector.

A drive unit includes a drive wheel, a prime mover, a coupling mechanism and a support frame. The coupling mechanism includes first and second coupling members. The first coupling member includes a first opposed surface. The second coupling member includes a second opposed surface opposed to the first opposed surface. The second coupling member is attached to the first coupling member in a detachable manner. The support frame is attached to the coupling mechanism. The support frame supports the drive wheel and the prime mover. The first coupling member includes a first vertical groove and a first transverse groove on the first opposed surface. The second coupling member includes a second vertical groove and a second transverse groove on the second opposed surface. The second vertical groove is opposed to the first vertical groove. The second transverse groove is opposed to the first transverse groove.

A rotating electric machine includes a non-rotating member, a stator fixed to the non-rotating member, a field coil fixed to the non-rotating member, disposed on an inner diameter side of the stator, and having an iron core and a winding wound around the iron core, and a rotor rotatably disposed between the stator and the field coil. The rotor has, at a portion facing the stator, different radial dimensions with respect to a rotary shaft of the rotor between a one end of the rotor in an extending direction of the rotary shaft and a portion different from the one end in the extending direction.

Rotating electric machine

A rotating electric machine includes a non-rotating member, a stator fixed to the non-rotating member, a field coil fixed to the non-rotating member, disposed on an inner diameter side of the stator, and having an iron core and a winding wound around the iron core, and a rotor rotatably disposed between the stator and the iron core. A flow path through which a heat exchange medium is supplied and discharged is formed in the iron core along an axial direction thereof.

A rotating electric machine includes a non-rotating member, a stator fixed to the non-rotating member, a field coil fixed to the non-rotating member, disposed on an inner diameter side of the stator, and having an iron core and a winding wound around the iron core, and a rotor rotatably disposed between the stator and the field coil. The rotor includes a first rotor portion and a second rotor portion. The rotating electric machine further comprises a positioning member disposed in each of the first gap, the second gap, and the third gap to position each of the first rotor portion and the second rotor portion in the circumferential direction and the extending direction.

A rotating electrical machine of a brushless wound field type disposed between a stationary case and rotating member that rotates inside the case includes a stator held by the case, including an AC coil that generates a rotating magnetic field with an alternating current, a field core held by the case, the field core including a field coil that generates a magnetic flux with a direct current, a rotor fixed in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the rotating member and held rotatably relative to the stator and field coil, a rotor side core portion that is a part of the rotating member. The magnetic flux of the field coil passes from the field core through the rotor via the second air gap, the stator and rotor via the first air gap, the rotor side core portion, and the field core via the third air gap.

Rotating electrical machine

A brushless winding field rotational electric machine positioned between a starting device and a case enclosing the starting device includes: a stator, which is held to the case, including an alternating-current coil configured to generate a rotation magnetic field by alternating current; a field core, which is held to the case, including a field coil to be excited by direct current; and a rotor disposed on an outer periphery of the starting device and rotatably held about a rotational axis relative to the stator and the field coil. The rotor includes a connection portion to be connected to a synchronized rotation member configured to rotate in synchronization with an engine along the rotational axis, on a facing surface to the synchronized rotation member.

Rotational electric machine

A vehicle drive apparatus includes a fluid coupling connected to an engine, and a rotating electric machine connected to the engine via the fluid coupling. The fluid coupling has an impeller to which torque having been output from the engine is input, and a turbine facing the impeller. The impeller rotates about a rotation axis. Torque having been output from the impeller is input to the turbine via a fluid. The turbine rotates about the rotation axis. The vehicle drive apparatus has a path provided between an output shaft of the engine and the impeller, the path through which torque having been output from the engine is transmitted to the impeller not via the turbine, and paths through which torque having been input to the impeller is output via the rotating electric machine, passing through a radially outside relative to the impeller with respect to the rotation axis from the impeller via the turbine.

Vehicle drive apparatus

A brushless winding field rotational electric machine includes: a stator, held to a case, including an alternating-current coil configured to generate a rotation magnetic field by alternating current; a field core, held to the case, including a field coil to be excited by direct current; and a rotor on an outer periphery of a rotation member and rotatably held about a rotational axis relative to the stator and field coil. The field coil includes a plurality of coil winding layers stacked in a radial direction of the rotational axis. A cross-sectional area along an axial direction of the rotational axis, of a coil winding layer closest to the rotational axis in the radial direction of the rotational axis is smaller than a cross-sectional area along the axial direction of the rotational axis, of a coil winding layer farthest from the rotational axis in the radial direction of the rotational axis.
