A display device includes an acquisition unit that acquires an estimated cruising range obtained using remaining charge of a battery that supplies electric power to a traction motor of a vehicle, a first display portion that displays a gauge that, with regard to an electric mileage difference between a specific electric mileage that is an electric mileage at a particular timing during traveling of the vehicle and a reference electric mileage, changes in accordance with change in a cumulative value in which the electric mileage difference at one or more of the particular timing is accumulated, a second display portion that displays the estimated cruising range of the vehicle, and a display control unit that changes the gauge of the first display portion, and when the cumulative value is equal to or more than a predetermined value, displays, in the second display portion, information indicating increasing the estimated cruising range.

Display device

A control apparatus of an electric vehicle includes a monitor determiner. The monitor determiner monitors a state of a main battery that supplies electric power directed to running, and determines whether the electric power of the main battery is usable on the basis of first information and second information. The first information is a deciding factor directed to deciding whether the electric power of the main battery is usable. The second information is a determination factor directed to determining whether the electric power of the main battery is usable. The monitor determiner determines, upon start-up of the electric vehicle, whether the electric power of the main battery is usable on the basis of the second information before the first information is calculated, and decides whether the electric power of the main battery is usable on the basis of the first information when the first information is calculated.

A control device for a vehicle includes: an inter-vehicle distance detector that detects a presence or an absence of a preceding vehicle, and an inter-vehicle distance between the vehicle and the preceding vehicle; an effectiveness ratio setting module that sets an effectiveness ratio indicating a proportion of an accelerator operation amount of a driver to be reflected in a drive control, on the basis of the inter-vehicle distance when the inter-vehicle distance is less than a predetermined standard value; and a drive controller that performs the drive control on the vehicle on the basis of the effectiveness ratio. When the preceding vehicle goes away in a state in which the effectiveness ratio is lowered, the effectiveness ratio setting module gradually increases the effectiveness ratio for a period for which an accelerator is on.

A state of charge indicator includes a first indication unit that provides an indication of a state of charge of a battery of a hybrid vehicle. The first indication unit includes a movable index and a fixed index. The movable index is movable in accordance with an increase and a decrease in the state of charge. The fixed index is disposed along a movement range of the movable index. The movable index is movable between positions corresponding to a maximum and a minimum of a state of charge range directed to an EV traveling mode and an HV traveling mode. The fixed index includes: a first sign that indicates switching from the EV traveling mode to the HV traveling mode; and a second sign that indicates switching from the HV traveling mode to the EV traveling mode.

State of charge indicator of hybrid vehicle

A state of charge indicator includes a first indication unit that provides an indicator display within a predetermined display range including first and second ends, according to an increase/decrease in a state of charge of a battery of a hybrid vehicle. In an EV traveling mode, the first indication unit allows the first and second ends to correspond respectively to an upper limit of a state of charge range directed to the EV traveling mode, and a first threshold that defines switching from the EV traveling mode to an HV traveling mode. In the HV traveling mode, the first indication unit allows the first and second ends to correspond respectively to a second threshold that defines switching from the HV traveling mode to the EV traveling mode, and a lower limit of a state of charge range directed to the HV traveling mode.

A hybrid vehicle has an engine and a motor-generator as power sources and has an inter-vehicle distance detection unit to detect an inter-vehicle distance between the vehicle and a preceding vehicle. A power generation amount is restricted according to the inter-vehicle distance in a power generation travel mode in which power of the engine drives the motor-generator while being transferred to the drive wheels. Output torque of an engine drivetrain is reduced according to the restricted power generation amount.

Power generation control device of hybrid vehicle

A high-voltage system control device is used for a vehicle provided with a high-voltage system including a motor as a power source and a battery to supply electric power to the motor. The device includes: an inter-vehicle distance detection unit to detect an inter-vehicle distance between the vehicle and an target such as a preceding vehicle; an automatic brake to automatically brake the vehicle according to the inter-vehicle distance; and a cut-off control unit to cut off the high-voltage system when the automatic brake is activated. When the vehicle is traveling at a high vehicle speed and the automatic brake is activated, the high-voltage system is cut off with a main relay.
