An ultrasonic detection device, including a substrate, sensing elements, a first test element, a first dummy element, at least one first common signal line, sensing signal lines, and at least one test signal line, is provided. The sensing elements, the first test element, and the first dummy element are located on the substrate. The first test element is located between the sensing elements and the first dummy element. Each of the sensing elements, the first test element, and the first dummy element includes an array of capacitive microelectromechanical ultrasonic transducers. The first common signal line is electrically connected to the sensing elements and the first test element. The sensing signal lines are electrically connected to the sensing elements. The test signal line is electrically connected to the first test element.

Ultrasonic detection device

A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, first signal lines, second signal lines, a first insulation layer, active components, a display medium, and ultrasonic transducers. The first insulation layer is located between the first signal lines and the second signal lines. Cavities are located in the first insulation layer having thin films located on the cavities. Each of the ultrasonic transducers includes first and second electrodes. A first electrode and a corresponding first signal line belong to a same layer and are electrically connected with each other. A second electrode and a corresponding second signal line belong to a same layer and are electrically connected with each other. A corresponding cavity and a corresponding thin film are sandwiched between the first and second electrodes.

Display device and manufacturing method thereof

A fabrication method of a liquid crystal panel is provided. A first substrate and a liquid crystal material are heated to a first fabrication temperature and a one drop filling (ODF) process is performed to drop the heated liquid crystal material on the first substrate, wherein the first fabrication temperature is lower than 70&#xb0; C. The first substrate is assembled to a second substrate through a sealant under a second fabrication temperature so that the liquid crystal material is sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate and located inside a region surrounded by the sealant, wherein the second fabrication temperature is 50&#xb0; C. to 70&#xb0; C. Subsequently, the sealant is solidified.

Fabrication method of a liquid crystal panel

The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel. First, a top substrate, a bottom substrate, and a liquid crystal medium are provided, and the liquid crystal medium is filled between the top substrate and the bottom substrate. Next, an electric field is applied to the liquid crystal medium. Then, the electric field is stopped. Thereafter, an energy light beam is irradiated on the liquid crystal medium to form a liquid crystal layer.

Method of manufacturing liquid crystal display panel

A blue phase liquid crystal display device includes a backlight module and a blue phase liquid crystal display panel. The backlight module includes a plurality of light sources. The light sources generate a plurality of primary color lights with different bands. The blue phase liquid crystal display panel includes a blue phase liquid crystal layer. The blue phase liquid crystal layer includes a plurality of blue phase liquid crystal molecules and a plurality of chiral dopants. The blue phase liquid crystal layer has a reflection band. The reflection band is located between the bands of two adjacent primary color lights.

Blue phase liquid crystal display device

The electrode structures in the display units of the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel described in the embodiments of the invention are formed by stacking the bottom electrodes, the insulation pattern layers, and the top electrodes. The width of each of the bottom electrodes is greater than the width of each of the top electrodes (i.e., the electrode structures have the protrusion-like shape). Therefore, the operating voltage can be effectively reduced, and the transmission rate can be improved.

Liquid crystal display panel

A method for fabricating a blue phase liquid crystal display is provided. A first substrate is arranged opposite to a second substrate, in which the first and second substrates include a first and a second electrode, respectively. A blue phase liquid crystal layer is sealed between the first substrate and the second substrate, in which the blue phase liquid crystal layer includes a positive blue phase liquid crystal and a monomer. A voltage is applied to the first electrode and the second electrode such that a vertical electric field is formed. The blue phase liquid crystal layer is illuminated with a light source such that the monomer performs polymerization to produce a polymer-stabilized positive blue phase liquid crystal. A blue phase liquid crystal display is also disclosed herein.

Blue phase liquid crystal display and method for fabricating the same

An alignment material composition including an alignment material, an ultraviolet absorbent, a light stabilizer and a solvent is provided. The ultraviolet absorbent has a formula 1 shown as below: wherein X represents hydrogen, alkyl group or halogen while R1 represents benzene ring carbon long-chain derivative. The light stabilizer has a formula 2 shown as below: wherein R2 represents ester-based derivative or amine-based derivative, R3 represents hydrogen, hydroxyl group (&#x2014;OH) or alkyl group.

Alignment material composition and alignment layer

A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a first vertical electrode, a second vertical electrode, a first pixel electrode, a first counter electrode, and a liquid crystal layer. The second substrate is disposed to be opposite to the first substrate, the liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first and second substrates. The liquid crystal layer includes polymer stabilized positive blue phase liquid crystal. The first vertical electrode is at an inner side of the first substrate, and faces the second substrate. The second vertical electrode is at an inner side surface of the second substrate and faces the first vertical electrode. The second vertical electrode and the first vertical electrode have different electrical potentials thus form a vertical electric field perpendicular to the first substrate and the second substrate. The first pixel electrode is at the inner side of the first substrate and faces the second substrate. The first counter electrode is at an inner side of the first substrate. The first pixel electrode and the first counter electrode have different electrical potentials. The first pixel electrode and the first counter electrode provide a horizontal electric field parallel to the first substrate and the second substrate.
