A method for controlling a vehicle that includes at least one camera and a lamp, the method including: controlling the at least one camera to capture at least one image of an area in front of the vehicle; extracting, from the at least one image, a light distribution pattern formed by the lamp in the area in front of the vehicle; and performing at least one control related to the extracted light distribution pattern, based on a comparison result obtained by comparing the extracted light distribution pattern with a reference light distribution pattern.

A vehicle lamp includes: a light source unit including one or more light sources and configured to generate light; a reflector configured to reflect at least part of the light generated by the light source unit; and a lens configured to transmit therethrough a first portion of the light that is generated by the light source unit and that is reflected by the reflector to the lens. The reflector includes: a reflective part configured to reflect, to the lens, the first portion of the light generated by the light source unit; and a non-reflective part configured not to reflect, to the lens, the light generated by the light source unit. The reflective part and the non-reflective part of the reflector are configured to selectively reflect the light generated by the light source unit towards the lens to output a light distribution pattern from the vehicle lamp.

A lamp for a vehicle includes: a lens; a first light source positioned at a rear side of the lens and configured to generate a first light; a first reflector configured to reflect the first light toward the lens; a second light source positioned at the rear side of the lens and configured to generate a second light; and a second reflector configured to reflect the second light toward the lens, wherein the first light source is configured to output the first light in a first direction, and the second light source is configured to output the second light in the first direction.

A lamp device for a vehicle includes a lamp housing and a light-emitting unit disposed therein. The light-emitting unit includes a light-emitting surface adjustable in at least one of a shape, an intensity of illumination, or a color of illumination. The lamp device further includes a bracket that supports the light-emitting unit to be mounted in the lamp housing, and that is configured to change the shape of the light-emitting surface of the light-emitting unit. The lamp device further includes a driving unit configured to apply a driving force to the bracket that changes the shape of the light-emitting surface of the light-emitting unit. The lamp device is configured to at least partially change, based on a plurality of lighting modes, at least one of the shape of the light-emitting surface, the intensity of illumination emitted from the light-emitting surface, or the color of illumination emitted from the light-emitting surface.
