A display device includes a display panel with a non-bending area and bending areas, and a metal plate disposed on a lower portion of the display panel and configured to support the display panel. The bending areas include first bending areas corresponding to a lateral portion of the non-bending area, and second bending areas corresponding to a corner of the non-bending area. The metal plate includes a first metal plate disposed in the non-bending area, a second metal plate disposed to correspond to the first bending areas, and a third metal plate disposed to correspond to the second bending areas with a groove is disposed in the second metal plate, and the third metal plate includes a plurality of opening portions to reduce stress caused by bending.

A foldable display apparatus includes: a display panel; first and second set housings arranged in a first direction and supporting the display panel; and a hinge assembly disposed between and connected to the first and second set housings. The hinge assembly is configured to: rotate the first and second set housings inward to in-fold the display panel so that the display panel is disposed between the first set housing and the second set housing; rotate the first and second set housings outward to out-fold the display panel so that the first set housing and the second set housing are disposed between the out-folded display panel; and position the first and second set housings flat to unfold the display panel so that the display panel is flat on the first set housing, the second set housing, and the hinge assembly.

A display device includes a display panel including a pixel arranged thereon, a gate driving circuit configured to supply a scan signal to the pixel, a power control unit configured to output a gate driving voltage to the gate driving circuit, a sensing unit configured to sense an input electric signal and output sensing data, and a timing controller configured to control operations of the gate driving circuit.

In a foldable display device, stretchability is given to an outermost area of the folding area of the first support substrate to which a relatively high stress is applied. Thus, the folding radius at the outermost area increases, which relatively reduces the stress at the outermost area. Provided is a touch display device including a folding area in an active area. The same pattern of touch electrodes can be maintained in both a reference area and a folding area and cracks on touch electrodes in the folding area, by applying a pattern structure of a touch insulation film disposed in the folding area. Therefore, the degradation of touch sensing performance, caused by cracks on the touch electrodes in the folding area, can be prevented and touch sensing sensitivity can be uniform in the reference area and the folding area, thereby improving touch sensing performance of the touch display device including the folding area.

A supporting frame for a flexible display panel includes a bending member and a plurality of supporting members. The bending member supports a bendable area of the flexible display panel and is configured to be bent. The plurality of supporting members support non-bendable display areas of the flexible display panel, and each connect to a plurality of connecting surfaces of the bending member.

Disclosed is a multi-display in which light emitting display apparatuses share information for varying a position of an image. The multi-display includes: at least two light emitting display apparatuses; and a distributing device distributing pieces of multi-image data transmitted from an external system to the light emitting display apparatuses, wherein a first controller controlling a function of a first light emitting display apparatus among the light emitting display apparatuses shares information for varying a position of an image with controllers controlling functions of the other light emitting display apparatuses. According to the multi-display of the present disclosure, even if the multi-image is shifted in various directions in order to prevent deterioration of the light emitting display apparatuses in the multi-display, a lossy image may be minimized or reduced.

The present invention improves a structure of a flexible printed circuit that outputs a force driving signal so as to be suitable for a structure included in the touch display device. Thus, an example of the present invention is a touch display device including a compact signal transmission path. Further, a force electrode and the flexible printed circuit are configured as one body to transmit a force driving signal to the force electrode through a signal line in the flexible printed circuit. Thus, an example of the present invention is a touch display device that can stably apply a force driving signal through a compact signal transmission path.

The flexible display device comprises a first flexible substrate including a display area including an organic light emitting layer, and a peripheral circuit area, and a second flexible substrate coming in contact with the first flexible substrate and including a pattern for facilitating bending thereof, wherein the second flexible substrate has a certain shape according to the pattern, and the first flexible substrate has a shape corresponding to the certain shape. Various embodiments of the present invention provide a flexible display device capable of realizing a narrow bezel-type or bezel-free display device and simultaneously realizing improved types of design, facilitating bending of a bezel area so as to realize a narrow bezel-type or bezel-free display device, and minimizing damage to an area to be bent.

A display device, a backlight unit, a guide panel, and a flexible printed circuit, are disclosed which include a conductive pattern on a part of an outer surface of a guide panel or a folding portion formed by folding a side end portion of the flexible printed circuit. The conductive pattern or the folding portion is electrically connected to an electrode located below the display device. A simple structure is provided in which a signal output from a signal input medium positioned above the guide panel is easily transmitted to an electrode located below the display device through the conductive pattern of the guide panel or the folding portion of the flexible printed circuit.

A flexible display device is provided according to the present disclosure. The flexible display device includes a display panel, a support frame configured to support the display panel and provide strength to the flexible display device, and an adhesive layer between the display panel and the support frame. The adhesive layer includes a base film with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, first protuberances extending from the first surface towards the display panel and attaching to the display panel, and second protuberances extending from the second surface towards the support frame and attaching to the support frame.

Embodiments relate to a foldable display apparatus including a hinge providing supporting for a bending area of a flexible display panel. The flexible display panel includes a first flat display area and a second flat display area at both sides of a bending display area. A first rear cover provides support for the first flat display area and has a first edge. A second rear cover provides support for the second flat display area and has having a second edge facing the first edge and parallel to the first edge. The hinge includes rear hinge covers longitudinally extending parallel to the first edge and the second edge, and elastic axis members coupling the plurality of rear hinge covers in an interlocking and rotatable manner. The elastic axis members are deformed as the rear hinge covers make a relative movement by bending of the hinge.
