An air cleaner includes a first blowing device having a first inlet and a first outlet, a second blowing device disposed above the first blowing device and having a second inlet, and a partition plate disposed between the first outlet and the second blowing device. The first blowing device includes a case forming the first inlet and opened in an upper side, a discharge guide device disposed in the opened upper side of the case and forming the first outlet, a first fan disposed inside the case and forming an air flow from the first inlet to the first outlet, and a splitter disposed between the partition plate and a discharge guide device and extending upward from the discharge guide device in a radial direction of the discharge guide device to separate an air flow discharged from the first outlet and guide the air flow in the radially outward direction.

Air cleaner

An air cleaner includes: a blower having an outlet formed on an upper side thereof; a circulator disposed over the blower and configured to control a wind direction of air flowing upwardly through the outlet; and a mover coupled to the circulator and configured to change an arrangement of the circulator, wherein the circulator includes: a lower cover having a lower plate coupled to the mover, and having an inlet formed around the lower plate; an upper cover disposed over the lower cover and having an outlet; a blower fan rotatably disposed between the lower cover and the upper cover, and having a circular inlet formed on a lower side and an annular outlet formed on an upper side; and a motor disposed on an upper side of the lower plate, and rotating the blower fan.

A air cleaner includes a blowing device and a circulator movably disposed above the blowing device. The circulator includes a housing extending in a front-rear direction, a first inlet being formed in a rear portion of the housing and a first outlet being formed in a front portion of the housing, a circulation fan disposed in the housing to suction air through the first inlet and then discharge the air through the first outlet to a front of the housing, and a motor rotating the circulation fan. The first inlet is disposed above a second outlet of the blowing device inside an imaginary extension surface vertically extending an edge of the second outlet, and has a diameter smaller than a diameter of the second outlet, thus suctioning air discharged from the second outlet and increasing an intake ratio of clean air that undergoes a cleaning operation of the blowing device.

An air circulator includes a housing having a first inlet and a first outlet, an oblique-flow fan disposed in the housing, and a motor rotating the oblique-flow fan. An outer wall of the housing includes a first outer wall extending in a front-rear direction and a second outer wall having the first inlet and extending from an edge of the first inlet towards the first outer wall to be enlarged in a radially outward direction. An outer surface of the second outer wall comprises a first surface that extends towards the first outer wall to be rounded outwards, and forms a surface continuous with an outer surface of the first outer wall, thus guiding air flowing along an outside of the first inlet so that the air flows forwards along the outer surface of the first outer wall.

Air circulator and air cleaner including air circulator

An air cleaner includes a blower, a circulator disposed over the blower, and a mover coupled to the circulator and configured to change an arrangement of the circulator. The circulator includes a lower cover, an upper cover disposed over the lower cover, a blower fan rotatably disposed between the lower cover and the upper cover, a motor disposed on an upper side of the lower cover and rotating the blower fan, an inner cover disposed over the lower cover and receiving a lower portion of the blower fan, and a bell mouth protruding upwardly from an inner circumferential end of an inner plate of the inner cover and spaced apart outwardly from a circumferential surface of a suction guider of the blower fan, so as to guide air, drawn in through an inlet of the lower cover, toward an inlet of the blower fan.

A micro channel type heat exchanger in which a first heat exchange module and a second heat exchange module are stacked, the micro channel type heat exchanger including a plurality of flat tubes disposed within the first heat exchange module and the second heat exchange module, and a heat blocking member configured to form a heat blocking space by separating the first heat exchange module and the second heat exchange module, wherein the heat blocking member forms a heat blocking space between the first heat exchange module and the second heat exchange module that minimizes heat conductivity and improves thermal exchange performance of the heat exchanger.

Micro channel type heat exchanger

A micro channel type heat exchanger having a first pass disposed in some flat tubes located in a first heat exchange module and along which a refrigerant flows in one direction, a second pass disposed in some of the remaining flat tubes located in the first heat exchange module and along which the refrigerant supplied from the first pass flows in an opposite direction to that of the first pass, a third pass distributed and located in the remainder of flat tubes located in the first heat exchange module other than the first pass and the second pass and in some flat tubes located in a second heat exchange module, and a fourth pass disposed in the remainder of the flat tubes located in the second heat exchange module and along which a refrigerant supplied from the third pass flows in an opposite direction to a direction of the third pass.

A centrifugal fan includes a main plate rotating about an axis of rotation, a shroud having an inlet port for introduction of air, and a plurality of blades circumferentially arranged between the main plate and the shroud so as to form a flow of air by accelerating air introduced through the inlet port. Each blade has a pressure surface formed such that a portion thereof near to the shroud is convex and a portion thereof near to the main plate is concave. The shroud has an inside surface formed as a curved surface, and the curved surface has a diffusion section extending radially. The main plate has a curved surface extending radially, and a curved surface of the shroud in the diffusion section at least partially overlaps with the curved surface formed in the main plate when viewed in a direction of the axis of rotation.

Centrifugal fan

A centrifugal blower for an air conditioner may include a centrifugal fan rotatably coupled to a motor, and a bell mouth guiding air into the centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan may include a hub fixed to the motor, a main plate provided at an outer circumferential surface of the hub, a shroud surrounding the rotary shaft, the shroud positioned opposite the main plate to define a main gas flow path, and wings arranged along a circumferential direction of the suction opening between the main plate and the shroud. A rear axial end of the bell mouth may be inserted into the shroud through the suction opening so as to form a predetermined radial gap with the suction opening. A rear portion of the bell mouth may include alternately formed protrusions and recesses inserted into the shroud.
