A structure for mounting ancillaries on a vehicle wherein one end of a first bracket in a plate form extends downwardly and is fixed to a body frame and the other end of the first bracket supports a reservoir. In addition, the first bracket supports the regulator in the proximity of the reservoir. The reservoir attached to the forward end of the first bracket functions as a deadweight which, because of the inertia of the deadweight, suppresses the vibrations of the forward end of the first bracket due to vehicle traveling and engine rotation. Thus, this structure suppresses and attenuates the vibration of the regulator attached to the first bracket.

Structure for mounting ancillaries on vehicle

In a vehicle in which a front end of a hood is formed so as to extend forward from an upper portion of radiator in side view, and to be partly vertically aligned and overlapped with cooling fins of the radiator, in a first area of the radiator where the hood and the cooling fins are vertically aligned and overlapped with each other, the cooling fins are covered with a fan shroud from behind, and in a second area of the radiator where an air-intake port allows traveling wind to pass therethrough during movement of the vehicle, the cooling fins are not covered with the fan shroud, but are exposed to such traveling wind. Such arrangement of the cooling system achieves satisfactory cooling of the vehicle even in a situation in which an air-intake port, for introducing air into the radiator, must be made small.

Cooling system including dual air routing zones

A reserve tank structure for enhancing the degree of freedom in the layout of the filling portion of the reserve tank and the mounting bracket and the degree of freedom in the layout of parts around the reserve tank. A reserve tank structure includes a reserve hose for connecting a reserve tank to a radiator. The reserve tank includes a tank body portion for reserving a cooling water with a filling portion that extends upwardly from the tank body portion and includes a water supply port on an upper end thereof. A hose plug is connected to an end portion of the reserve hose. Mounting brackets support an intermediate portion of the reserve hose wherein the mounting bracket is mounted on the filling portion.

Reserve tank structure

An air cleaner box structured to facilitate the attaching and detaching operation of an air cleaner element While enhancing the support rigidity thereof. The air cleaner box includes a casing having a case body and the openable and closable case cover. The air cleaner element and the element holder to support the air cleaner element are contained in the casing. The element holder has an extended U-shape in cross section, and has end sections that are supported by the case body and the case cover respectively. The element holder pivots on the bottom face rear ends of the holder lower protrusions in an inclinable manner.

Saddle-ride type vehicle

A quick connector is capable of reducing wobbling due to vibrations, and even after the retaining member is reused repeatedly, sealing property can be maintained and wobbling can be made smaller. A quick connector is provided with, a female connector member, a male connector member which fits into the female connector via a sealing member, and a retaining member which exists in a circular space between these connector members, interposed between the inner periphery of the female connector member and the outer periphery of the male connector member to be engaged therewith, thereby preventing the male connector member from coming off in the connector central line direction, wherein, a locking ring having a first fitting part which fits between the inner periphery of the retaining member and the outer periphery of the male connector member is provided on the outer periphery of the male connector member.
