A display device variable between a first mode and a second mode includes a display module including a first portion, a second portion disposed under the first portion, and a third portion disposed between the first portion and the second portion, where the third portion is bent in the first mode, a support part including a support plate disposed under the first portion and a plurality of support bars under the second portion and the third portion, a plate part disposed under the support part and including a magnet part movable in a first direction to be away from or to approach the first portion, and a driving part disposed under the plate part. When being switched from the first mode to the second mode, the third portion is disposed parallel to the first portion, and the magnet part moves in the first direction to overlap the third portion.

Display device

A laminating roller, a laminating device, and a method for laminating a display apparatus are provided. A laminating device includes a stage on which a display module including a folding area foldable about a folding axis and at least one non-folding area, which is not folded, is configured to be seated; a pressing part over the stage to overlap the non-folding area and having a diameter; and a connection part over the stage to overlap the folding area and connected to the pressing part, and the connection part has a diameter less than that of the pressing part and extends in a direction perpendicular to the folding axis.

Laminating roller, laminating device and method for laminating display apparatus

A display device including an input sensing unit. The input sensing unit includes sensors and signal lines connecting the sensors to a driving circuit for sensing a touch. The signal lines may include reception signal lines and transmission signal lines. A resistance value of the reception signal line connected to the sensor relatively far from the driving circuit is smaller than a resistance value of the reception signal line connected to the sensor relatively close to the driving circuit.

Display module

A bonding device includes: a stage and a pressing part, which is placed on the stage and is movable toward the stage. A first layer, which is disposed on an upper surface of the stage, includes a first flat portion and first bending portions. A second layer, which is disposed below a lower surface of the pressing part, includes a second flat portion and second bending portions. The first and second bending portions may be disposed between the stage and the pressing part, in a state bent with curvatures, respectively. The curvature of a lower surface of each of the second bending portions is smaller than the curvature of an upper surface of each of the first bending portions.

Bonding device and method of fabricating display device using the same

A display apparatus includes: digitizer; an adhesive layer disposed on the digitizer to contact the digitizer; and a substrate disposed on the adhesive layer to contact the adhesive layer. The substrate includes a first substrate in which a plurality of first structures, each including an opening or groove, are defined such that the first substrate is folded about a folding axis extending in a first direction, and the first substrate includes a glass material.

Display apparatus having a plurality of openings and method of manufacturing the same

Disclosed is a display device including a display module that has at least one folding area, a first film disposed on the display module and having a first modulus, a second film disposed on the first film, being farther from the display module than the first film, and having a second modulus less than the first modulus, and a third film disposed on the second film, being farther from the display module than the second film, and having a third modulus less than the second modulus. The third modulus is equal to or less than about one-sixth of the first modulus.

A display device comprises a display substrate, first interconnections, second interconnections, a driving circuit and a polarizing plate. The display substrate includes a bend portion which is curved with respect to an axis parallel to a first direction. The first interconnections extend in the first direction and are on the display substrate. The second interconnections are on the display substrate, connected to the first interconnections and extend in a second direction different from the first direction. The driving circuit is electrically connected to the first interconnections and the second interconnections and provides driving signals to the first interconnections and the second interconnections. The polarizing plate is on the display substrate and overlaps the first interconnections and the second interconnections.

A display device includes a display module, a supporting plate disposed under the display module, supporting bars disposed under the display module and arranged in a first direction with the supporting plate, a supporting film disposed between the display module and the supporting plate and between the display module and the supporting bars, a first case accommodating the display module, the supporting plate, the supporting film, and the supporting bars, and a second case coupled to the first case to move in a direction to be close to or to be far away from the first case along the first direction. Opposite sides of the supporting bars are respectively inserted into first guide grooves defined in inner side surfaces of the first case, which face each other in a second direction crossing the first direction, and the supporting bars move along the first guide groove.

Display device and method of manufacturing supporting part

A flexible display apparatus includes a first functional layer, a second functional layer above the first functional layer, a third functional layer above the second functional layer, a first adhesive layer between the first functional layer and the second functional layer, and having a first recovery rate, and a second adhesive layer between the second functional layer and the third functional layer, and having a second recovery rate that is lower than the first recovery rate.
