A display device includes a substrate, a sub-pixel on the substrate and including an organic light emitting diode, an encapsulation layer on the organic light emitting diode, and a plurality of touch electrodes on the encapsulation layer, the plurality of touch electrodes including an open area. The sub-pixel may include first and second emission areas and a first non-emission area in the open area of the plurality of touch electrodes, the first non-emission area being configured to be in a black state or to have a lower brightness than the first and second emission areas. Each of the first non-emission area and at least one of the first and second emission areas may have a shape of an octagon, a circle, an ellipse, a polygon, a triangle, a square, or a hexagon in a plan view.

Display device

A display device according to an example of the present disclosure includes a substrate in which an emission area and a non-emission area are divided and a plurality of sub-pixels are defined, an insulating layer disposed on the substrate, a first electrode disposed in each of the plurality of sub-pixels, a bank disposed on the insulating layer and exposing the first electrode through an opening thereof, an organic layer disposed on the first electrode, and a second electrode disposed on the organic layer. The bank includes exposed side surfaces by removing one area thereof between the plurality of sub-pixels, an undercut structure inwardly from lower ends of the exposed side surfaces. The bank further includes exposed side surfaces by removing an area thereof between the plurality of sub-pixels, and a trench structure by removing a portion of a thickness of the insulating layer.

Touch display device

Disclosed herein is a transparent organic light-emitting display (OLED) device. A first sub-pixel includes a first transparent region and a first emissive region disposed in line with the first transparent region in a first direction, and a second sub-pixel includes a second transparent region area and a second emissive region in line with the second transparent region in the first direction. The second sub-pixel is disposed adjacent to the first sub-pixel in the second direction. The first emissive region is in line with the second transparent region in a second direction, and the second emissive region is in line with the first transparent region in the second direction. In the transparent OLED device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, emissive regions are disposed in a zigzag pattern with respect to a gate line, so that the area of the transparent regions can be enlarged, and accordingly higher transmittance can be achieved.

Transparent organic light-emitting display device

Provided is an organic light emitting display (OLED) device that includes, for example, a thin film transistor including an active layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode; a planarization layer on the thin film transistor; an anode on the planarization layer; an organic light emitting layer on the anode; a cathode on the organic light emitting layer; a first auxiliary line on the same layer and formed of the same material as the source electrode and the drain electrode; and a second auxiliary line on the same layer and formed of the same material as the anode, wherein the first auxiliary line and the second auxiliary line cross each other with the planarization layer interposed therebetween, and wherein the first auxiliary line is electrically connected with the cathode through the second auxiliary line.

A touch input device capable of detecting a touch pressure is provided that includes: a display module having a pressure electrode which is formed on a back side of the display panel and is for detecting the pressure; and a reference potential layer which is formed separately from the pressure electrode. The touch input device detects the touch pressure on the basis of a capacitance change amount according to a change of a distance between the pressure electrode and the reference potential layer. As a result of this, the touch input device becomes thinner, has a reduced manufacturing cost thereof, and detects a touch position and touch pressure without deteriorating the visibility and optical transmittance of the display module.

Touch sensor integrated type display device

An organic light emitting display is provided. The organic light emitting display comprises a multi-type thin-film transistor (TFT) and an organic light emitting diode. The multi-type TFT has a low-temperature-poly-silicon (LTPS) TFT and an oxide semiconductor TFT (oxide TFT) disposed on the LTPS TFT. The organic light emitting diode is electrically connected to the multi-type TFT. The LTPS TFT and the oxide TFT are connected to the same gate line.
