A wireless device receives a radio resource control (RRC) message indicating a first resource pool of a sidelink (SL) communication. The wireless device determines, from a candidate resource set in the first resource pool, a SL grant indicating resources for one or more SL transmissions of the SL communication. The wireless device receives, by a medium access control (MAC) layer from a physical layer of the wireless device, an indication of SL listen before talk (LBT) failure of a first resource of the resources indicated in the SL grant. Based on the indication, the wireless device selects, for the first resource, a second resource from the first resource pool excluding resources associated with SL LBT failure. The wireless device transmits, via the second resource, the one or more SL transmissions of the SL communication.

Slidelink transmission method and apparatus based on sidelink listen-before-talk failure on a shared spectrum

A wireless device receives a layer 1 or layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) cell switch command. The LTM cell switch command comprises a configuration index indicating a cell for an LTM procedure and does not comprise a timing adjustment value for a primary timing advance group (PTAG) of the cell. In response to receiving the LTM cell switch command with no timing adjustment value, the wireless device starts a time alignment timer associated with the PTAG after measuring a timing advance of the cell.

Timing advance for mobility

An access and mobility management function (AMF) receives, from a base station, a non-access stratum (NAS) request message of a wireless device comprising one or more single network slice selection assistance information(s) (S-NSSAIs) corresponding to one or more network slices. The AMF determines to perform network slice specific authentication and authorization (NSSAA) for a first network slice of the one or more network slices. The AMF sends, to the base station, based on the determining, an N2 setup message comprising an indication that the first network slice is pending.

Network slice specific authentication and authorization

A user plane function (UPF) receives, from a control plane function (CPF), a request to establish a layer 2 tunneling protocol (L2TP) tunnel for a first protocol data unit (PDU) session of a wireless device. The UPF sends, to the CPF, a message comprising a tunnel failure cause for the establishment of the L2TP tunnel for the first PDU session. The message indicating at least one of a L2TP tunnel failure of the L2TP tunnel, or a L2TP session failure associated with the L2TP tunnel.

Tunnel failure signaling procedures

A wireless device receives, from a first network, one or more messages comprising an authentication and/or authorization (AA) status of the wireless device indicating whether the wireless device is authenticated and/or authorized for an aerial service, and a parameter indicating that an interface between the first network and a second network is not supported. The wireless device sends, to a network function of the second network, a message, wherein the message comprises the AA status based on the parameter indicating that there is no interface.

A communication procedure may be used for multiple access. A wireless device may be capable of simultaneously accessing a plurality of networks that are associated with a visited network. The visited network may or may not allow the wireless device to simultaneously access the plurality of networks, for example, based on a status of the visited network. Prior to a wireless device requesting access to a plurality of networks, a visited network may indicate whether the visited network supports, for the wireless device, simultaneous access to a plurality of networks.

Multiple access

A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating a first transport block (TB) size threshold of a first random access (RA) type and indicating a second TB size threshold of a second RA type. The wireless device selects, for transmitting a data unit, an RA type among the first RA type and the second RA type. The RA type is selected based on a comparison among a size of the data unit, the first TB size threshold, and the second TB size threshold. A transport block with the data unit is transmitted using the RA procedure associated with the selected RA type.

Random access type selection for small data transmission

A method may include receiving, by a base station distributed unit from a wireless device not in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state an RRC request message for a small data transmission (SDT) procedure and uplink data associated with the SDT procedure. The method may also include sending, to a base station central unit, the RRC request message for the SDT procedure. The method may further include receiving, from the base station central unit, a message that includes radio link control (RLC) configuration parameters for the SDT procedure and a field indicating that the RLC configuration parameters are for the SDT procedure. The method may additionally include sending the uplink data to the base station central unit in accordance with the field.

A second access and mobility management function (AMF) may receive a first message having positioning capability information indicating that a location management component (LMC) supports one or more positioning types. The second AMF may receive, from a first AMF, a second message indicating a positioning type of a wireless device. The second AMF may determine the LMC based on the positioning type and the positioning capability information. The second AMF may send, to a base station associated with the LMC, a third message having an identifier of the LMC.

Location management

A wireless device receives, while in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state, via a first cell, one or more messages. The one or more messages comprise a conditional cell configuration of a second cell, an indication to allow the wireless device to apply the conditional cell configuration in an RRC inactive state, and a suspend configuration for the RRC inactive state. The wireless device transitions, based on the suspend configuration, to the RRC inactive state. The wireless device applies, in the RRC inactive state, the conditional cell configuration. The applying is based on determining to transition, via the second cell, to an RRC connected state, and the indication to allow the wireless device to apply the conditional cell configuration in the RRC inactive state.

A base station receives, from a network function, a message comprising a charging control for time service indicator, wherein the charging control for time service indicator is for a time resiliency service for a wireless device, the base station collects, based on the charging control for time service indicator, usage information associated with the time resiliency service for the wireless device. The base station sends, to a mobility management function, the usage information associated with the time resiliency service.

A wireless device comprises one or more processors and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to receive, from a base station, a first radio resource control (RRC) release message comprising a suspend configuration associated with one or more first bandwidth parts (BWPs). While the wireless device is in an RRC idle state or an RRC inactive state, the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to transmit, based on the suspend configuration. first data associated with a small data transmission (SDT) procedure. The one or more processors cause the wireless device to receive, from the base station, a second RRC release message comprising a subsequent configuration associated with one or more second BWPs, and receive, from the base station via the one or more second BWPs, based on the subsequent configuration, second data associated with the SDT procedure.

A wireless device receives, from a base station, a UE capability enquiry message and transmits a UE capability information message indicating a maximum number of candidate cells for ETA. The UE receives, from the base station, an RRC reconfiguration message comprising a LTM configuration comprising a first configuration for layer 1 measurement reporting, a second configuration of resource, for the layer 1 measurement reporting, and a configuration for a candidate cell. The UE transmits, to the base station and based on the first configuration and the second configuration, a layer 1 measurement report and receives, from the base station, a downlink control information indicating the candidate cell for ETA. The UE transmits via the candidate cell a random access preamble for ETA, receives a cell switch command, for LTM, indicating the configuration of the candidate cell and a TA value of the candidate cell, and applies the configuration of the candidate cell and transmits, based on the TA value and via the candidate cell, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH).
