The present disclosure relates to an enamel composition, a method for preparation thereof, and a cooking appliance using the same, which provide excellent cleaning performance, reduce a defect caused by carbon gases when an enamel coating is implemented on a base material made of cast iron, and provides excellent thermal shock resistance and durability. In the enamel composition according to the disclosure, components implementing glass and components having catalytic performance have an optimal component system, thereby ensuring excellent thermal shock resistance and durability. The enamel composition of the present disclosure has a component system that helps enamel cast iron as well as low carbon steel, thereby ensuring excellent cleaning performance, thermal shock resistance and durability. The enamel composition of the present disclosure is appropriate for a cooktop grate, a hob burner, and the like which directly contact a fire and are exposed to repetitive thermal shock.

A coating composition, coating glass and a method for preparation thereof, and a cooking appliance including the coating class are described. The coating composition includes a coating material and a heat conductive oxide nano powder that is 5 to 10 wt % with respect to a weight of the coating material. The coating composition provides an excellent infrared reflective function, a high transmittance, and an excellent cleaning performance.

A glass coating composition may include a glass composition and a nanopowder. The nanopowder may include Zinc Oxide (ZnO) and may be added to a glass composition in 1 to 10 weight (wt %). The coating composition includes 20 to 40 wt % of phosphorus pentoxide (PO), 15 to 30 wt % of aluminum oxide (AlO) and zirconium dioxide (ZrO), 10 to 30 wt % of sodium oxide (NaO) and potassium oxide (KO), 10 to 25 wt % of boron trioxide (BO), and 10 to 15 wt % of zinc oxide (ZnO).

A self-healing conjugated polymer is disclosed. The self-healing conjugated polymer has hydrogen bonding functional groups introduced into its side chains. Due to this structure, the conjugated polymer is imparted with the ability to recover through self-healing while maintaining its inherent properties (for example, physical and electrical properties). Based on this effective self-healing ability, the conjugated polymer is expected to find application as a biomaterial, a pharmaceutical material, a nonlinear optical material or an organic electronic material.

The coating composition includes by weight based on a total weight of the coating composition 35 to 55% PO, 5 to 35% AlO, 5 to 40% I group-based metal oxide, 5 to 10% BO, 1 to 5% ZnO, and 1 to 10% II group-based metal oxide.
