A refrigerator that includes a cabinet; a storage compartment located in the cabinet; a door mounted to the cabinet and configured to open or close at least a portion of the storage compartment; a freezing compartment provided in an upper region of the cabinet; an evaporator configured to cool the freezing compartment; an elevating frame provided at a lower part of the freezing compartment, the elevating frame being configured to move vertically and defining an expanded freezing compartment based on the elevating frame being moved downward; and fixed frames that are secured to respective sidewalls of the storage compartment and that are configured to guide and support vertical movement of the elevating frame is disclosed.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator may include a cabinet defined with a storage chamber therein, and a shelf assembly mounted in the storage chamber provided with a vertically movable shelf. The shelf assembly includes a guide member mounted in the storage chamber while having guide slots inclinedly formed at side walls of the guide member. The shelf is supported by the guide member to be vertically movable. Guide protrusions are provided at opposite lateral ends of the shelf to protrude laterally and are supported by the guide slots in a state of being slidably engaged in the guide slots. The guide slots have bent upper ends forming upper seats to support the guide protrusions. Each upper seat is formed such that a straight vertical line extending downwards from a center of the upper seat passes through a center of a lower seat formed at the corresponding guide slot.

There is disclosed a refrigerator including a refrigerator cabinet comprising a storage chamber provided therein, a first drawer provided in the storage chamber, movable forward, a second drawer arranged in front of the first drawer, movable forward and downward, a rail unit configured to support the first drawer and the second drawer and guide the motion of the first and second drawers, and a link unit comprising a shaft coupled to the second drawer, to rotate the second shelf forward and downward.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet with a storage chamber, and a shelf assembly. The shelf assembly includes guide members respectively mounted to opposite side walls of the storage chamber, a shelf vertically movable while being guided by the guide members, side walls extending downwards from opposite lateral ends of the shelf and vertically movable while being guided by the guide members, guide slots formed through the guide members while extending in forward and rearward directions, a pair of cam members pivotably mounted to an outer surface of each guide member, first and second links connected between the cam members, to simultaneously pivot the cam members, a handle link connected, at one end thereof, to the second link, and a handle member coupled to the other end of the handle link while extending through the corresponding guide slot, to protrude inside the guide member.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet with a storage chamber, and a shelf assembly vertically movably mounted in the storage chamber. The shelf assembly includes a pair of guide members mounted to opposite side walls of the storage chamber, a shelf guided by the guide members to be vertically movable, a pair of side walls extending downwards from opposite lateral ends of the shelf and vertically movable while being guided by the guide members, a handle member having opposite ends mounted in guide slots formed through upper portions of the side walls, to be slidably guided by the guide slots in forward and rearward directions, two pairs of cam members pivotably mounted to the corresponding guide members, to support the shelf, and a pair of extension portions pivotally connected to the corresponding cam members while extending rearwards from opposite ends of the handle member.

A tower pantry includes a guide mechanism mounted on a bottom of an opened space inside a refrigerating room and a basket attached to the guide mechanism and configured to move forward and backward on the first guide mechanism. The tower pantry also includes frames that are fastened to corners of the first basket and that vertically extend from the first basket. The tower pantry further includes a frame cover fastened on the frames and defining a space that accommodates a large-size beverage container.

A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator may include a main body having at least one storage chamber, a drawer mount installed in the at least one storage chamber that guides at least one drawer provided therein so as to be inserted into and pulled out of the at least one storage chamber, a cover configured to cover an upper opening of the at least one drawer and including guide grooves formed at left and right edges of the cover and guide rails mounted in the guide grooves and formed of metal, a shelf supported by the cover so as to be slidable on the cover by the guide rails, and a pair of supports provided at both sides of a lower surface of the shelf.

A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator may include a cabinet having a first storage region with a plurality of shelves, a first door coupled to the cabinet by a first connection member and having a second storage region with a plurality of shelves and an opening providing to access to the second storage region, and a second door rotatably coupled to the first door by a second connection member so as to selectively provide access to the second storage region through the opening in the first door. An auxiliary shelf may be rotatably coupled in the opening formed in the first door such that an axis of rotation of the auxiliary shelf crosses, or is orthogonal to, the axis of rotation of the first and second doors.
