A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, the plurality of pixels driven during a first frame with a first driving frequency and a second frame with a second driving frequency, a frequency generation unit configured to generate first frequency information indicative of the first driving frequency of the first frame after an end of the first frame, a gain generation unit configured to receive the first frequency information indicative of the first driving frequency generated by the frequency generation unit and generate a first gain value for the second frame based on the first driving frequency of the first frame indicated in the received first frequency information, and a video data output unit configured to output video data generated based on the first gain value to a data driving unit during the second frame.

A display apparatus includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels; a timing controller generating image data, a data control signal, and a gate control signal, based on an input image signal and an input control signal; a data driver generating a data signal for an output image based on the image data and the data control signal and supplying the data signal to the pixels; a gate driver generating a gate signal based on the gate control signal and supplying the gate signal for the output image to the pixels. The timing controller detects a frame period corresponding to a frame rate of the input image and when the detected frame period is longer than the critical period, inserts a sub frame duration to output active data for image refresh after outputting active data of an output frame duration corresponding to the output image.

The display device includes a display panel which includes a plurality of pixels; a threshold voltage sensing circuit which senses a threshold voltage of a light emitting diode included in the plurality of pixels, a data compensating circuit which corrects a data signal in accordance with a variation of the threshold voltage and accumulated data to generate a corrected data signal, and a data driver which generates a data voltage in accordance with the corrected data signal to output the data voltage to the display panel, in which the data compensating circuit periodically corrects the data signal in accordance with a look-up table in which a relationship of the variation of the threshold voltage and the accumulated data is described during an aging period to generate the corrected data signal. The display device according to the present disclosure improves an image quality of the display.

A touch sensor-integrated display device includes a display panel with a pixel array divided into a plurality of touch blocks, each touch block having a plurality of pixels for displaying an input image and at least one touch pixel for sensing touch input; a data drive circuit that applies a charging voltage to the touch pixel in each touch block through a touch sensing line and then senses an electrical charge discharged from the touch pixel and outputs the sensing result as a touch sensing value, wherein a signal line commonly connected to the pixels and the touch pixel in each touch block is used as the touch sensing line; and a timing controller that detects touch input based on the touch sensing value.

The light emitting display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area including a plurality of pixel areas and a non-display area surrounding the display area, first to ngate lines passing through the display area of the substrate, first to mdata lines passing through the display area of the substrate, first to mpixel driving power lines passing through the display area of the substrate, a plurality of pixels provided in at least one pixel area of the substrate and connected to an adjacent gate line, an adjacent data line, and an adjacent pixel driving power line, and at least one data buffer chip provided in the display area of the substrate and connected to a corresponding data line of the first to mdata lines. Accordingly, a constant data voltage charging rate of each of the pixels is maintained regardless of a distance between a data driving circuit and each of the pixels.

A display apparatus including a substrate including a display area includes a plurality of pixel areas and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a plurality of pixels including a pixel driving chip provided in each of the plurality of pixel areas of the substrate and a light emission part connected to the pixel driving chip, and a plurality of touch electrodes disposed in the display area to overlap two or more pixels. Disclosed is a light emitting display apparatus. The light emitting display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels provided in a display area of a substrate and connected to a data line, a clock line, and a pixel driving power line. The plurality of pixels each include a pixel driving chip connected to the data line, the clock line, and the pixel driving power line to sequentially output a driving current through a plurality of output terminals thereof and a plurality of light emitting devices respectively connected to the plurality of output terminals. Disclosed is a light emitting display apparatus. The display apparatus may include gate lines passing through a display area of a substrate, data lines passing through the display area of the substrate, pixel driving power lines passing through the display area of the substrate, a plurality of pixels having a pixel driving chip mounted on at least one pixel area defined on the substrate and connected and connected to an adjacent gate line and data line and a light emission part connected to the pixel driving chip, a gate driving chip array part mounted in a non-display area of the substrate and connected to the gate lines, and a data driving chip array part mounted in the non-display area of the substrate and connected to the data lines.

A disclosed touch sensor integrated display device includes a display panel; and a data drive circuit configured to set a gate-source voltage to turn on a driving TFT in the display panel by applying a data voltage for touch sensing to a gate node of the driving TFT through a data line and a reference voltage to a source node of the driving TFT through a sensing line, during a reset period based on a scan control signal and a sensing control signal, and to output a sensing value by sensing a change in a source-drain current of the driving TFT caused by touch input, during a sensing period subsequent to the reset period.

Disclosed is a display apparatus having a simplified configuration. The display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area including a plurality of pixel areas defined in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a plurality of pixels each including a pixel driving chip provided in a corresponding pixel area of the plurality of pixel areas of the substrate and a light emission part connected to the pixel driving chip, a plurality of pixel data transfer lines sequentially transferring digital pixel data to pixel driving chips of pixels arranged in the first direction, and a plurality of clock transfer lines sequentially transferring a reference clock to the pixel driving chips of the pixels arranged in the first direction. The pixel driving chip allows the light emission part to emit light, based on the digital pixel data and the reference clock input thereto.

A display device and a driving method of the display device are disclosed. The display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, wherein each of the pixels is composed of three sub-pixels among a first color sub-pixel, a second color sub-pixel, a third color sub-pixel, and a fourth color sub-pixel, an image processing unit configured to change a color combination on a time axis in at least one of the pixels, and render sub-pixel data of an input image in the color combination, and a display panel driving circuit configured to write data received from the image processing unit to the pixels.

A touch sensor integrated display device and a method for driving the same are disclosed. The touch sensor integrated display device includes a display panel, each pixel of a pixel array including an OLED and a driving TFT applying a source-drain current to the OLED, the pixel array being divided into touch blocks, each touch block including pixels and a sensing target pixel line coupled to a subset of the pixels, and a panel drive circuit configured to, in a touch sensing period, supply a scan control signal and a sensing control signal to the sensing target pixel line corresponding to a touch block, set a gate-source voltage of the driving TFT coupled to the sensing target pixel line to turn on the driving TFT, and output a sensing value by sensing a change in the source-drain current of the driving TFT caused by a touch input.
