A portable chair includes a frame and a sling for accommodating a seated user. The frame includes an upper back pair of bars, a lower back pair of bars, a hub configured to couple the upper back pair of bars to the lower back pair of bars, a middle pair of bars configured to be coupled to a corresponding one of the lower back pair of bars, a front pair of bars configured to be coupled to a corresponding one of the middle pair of bars, and a front joint configured to couple the front pair of bars to each other.

System and methods for portable furniture

The present invention relates to collapsible snowshoes. In one embodiment, a collapsible snowshoe includes a collapsible frame, a webbing and a binding. The collapsible snowshoe frame includes a first pair of bars, a second pair of bars, a pair of joints and a center bar securing the pair of joints to each other. The second pair of bars are each collapsible and include bar sections that are removably coupled to each other. The pair of joints is coupled to the corresponding first end of each of the first pair of bars, and is also coupled to the corresponding first end of each of the second pair of bars.

Collapsible snowshoes and methods thereof

A portable chair, configured to accommodate a seated user, includes a front pair of collapsible bars, a back pair of collapsible bars, a pair of joints, a center bar, a first set of lower bars, a second set of lower bars, and a sling. The center bar configured to securely couple the pair of back joints to each other. In some embodiments, at least one of the first set of lower bars has a first end permanently fixed to one of the joints, and a second end of first lower bars is configured to provide a point of contact with a ground surface. At least one of the second set of lower bars having a first end configured to be coupled to one of the joints, and wherein a second end of second lower bars is configured to provide a point of contact with a ground surface.

Portable chairs and methods thereof

The present invention relates to lightweight collapsible portable and configurable furniture. In one embodiment, a table includes a collapsible top with optional slat(s), a collapsible top support frame, a collapsible leg frame and leg extenders. The top support frame provides tension to the top. The leg frame is coupled to top support frame. The leg extenders extend independently from the leg frame to provide stability. In another embodiment, a cot includes collapsible top(s), corresponding pair(s) of support bars and legs. The legs are coupled to the support bar pairs to provide support and tension to the top(s).

Portable configurable furniture

An adjustable suspension system for a backpack includes a flexible frame, a trampoline and a tension adjustment mechanism. The suspension system can allow the user to control the position of the frame anywhere between a flat position directly adjacent to the user's back and a fully bowed position that arches away from the user's back.

Variable suspension system for backpacks

The present invention relates to lightweight collapsible portable chairs. In one embodiment, the portable chair has a sling and a chair frame which includes a first pair of bars and a second pair of bars. Each bar of the first pair of bars includes a joint configured to contact a ground surface. In another embodiment, the chair frame includes a front of bars, a back pair of bars, a pair of joints and a center bar configured to securely couple the pair of back joints to each other. In some embodiments, the chair frame includes a front support assembly. In other embodiments, the chair frame includes a pair of lower bars.

A caster assembly for a frame is described that permits a frame to be easily moved and placed. The caster assembly, which may lift a leg of the frame, can be placed or removed without picking up the frame. The caster assembly further includes a handle that moves a cam for engaging the caster assembly with the leg. A frame having at least one caster assembly is also described.

The present invention relates to a personal hydration system. In one exemplary embodiment, the personal hydration system may comprise a hydration reservoir for containing a supply of hydrating fluid, the hydration reservoir may comprise a plurality of compartments. The hydration reservoir may have a low profile and may comprise at least one baffle.

Slosh controlled personal hydration system

A backpack suspension system is provided that provides a more natural feel as it is able to match a hiker's twisting and bending motions. A backpack suspension system comprises a frame having an upper and a lower portion, and a hub connecting the upper and lower portion. The upper and lower portion comprise a plurality of rods adapted to rotate within the hub. The hub is adapted to pivot about a horizontal axis. In certain embodiments the frame is substantially X shaped and in certain embodiments the hub is substantially X shaped.

A method and portable hydration system can include a conduit coupled to a bite valve and a reservoir. The conduit and the bite valve facilitate human consumption of fluid in the reservoir. The system may also include an active heating assembly to prevent the fluid from freezing while in the conduit and the bite valve. The active heating assembly may include a temperature sensor to detect the temperature of the conduit, a heating element to heat the conduit and a controller coupled to the temperature sensor and the heating element to control heating of the conduit.
