A host controller, a secure element, and a serial peripheral interface communications system are provided. The host controller is configured to connect to a secure element via a serial peripheral interface and includes: a resume signal generator configured to generate a first resume signal indicating a start of communication with the secure element; a transmitter configured to transmit the first resume signal to the secure element; a slave select line activator configured to activate a slave select line after the first resume signal is transmitted; and a clock controller configured to transmit a first clock signal to the secure element over a clock line based on the slave select line being activated, and the transmitter is further configured to transmit a first signal containing first data to the secure element over a master-out slave-in line (an MOSI line) while the first clock signal is being transmitted.

Host controller, secure element and serial peripheral interface communications system

A remote control method between mobile devices and a system thereof are provided. The system includes a server including a control command list for controlling a help-requesting device. The server authenticates a remote control authorization of a control device and relays a data packet communication between the help-requesting device and the control device. The help-requesting device transmits a help request message to the control device through the server. The control device acquires the authorization to remotely control the help-requesting device from the server and then transmits a control command for controlling the help-requesting device to the help-requesting device through the server. The help-requesting device executes the received control command and then transmits execution result data to the control device through the server. The control device outputs the execution result data received from the help-requesting device.

Method and system for remote control between mobile devices

A method and an apparatus for reducing current consumption in a mobile terminal are provided. The mobile terminal includes a power supply unit for outputting a paging power signal that repeats power on and off states and a microphone bias according to a paging period previously set by a network, a connection unit for connecting the peripheral device and for outputting a connection detecting signal when connection of the peripheral device is detected, a determination unit for receiving the paging power signal and the connection detecting signal as an input signal and for generating and outputting a microphone bias apply signal when a power on state of the paging power signal is detected, and a controller for controlling application of the microphone bias apply signal to the connection unit when the controller receives the microphone bias apply signal.

Method and apparatus for reducing current consumption of mobile terminal

A method and an apparatus for recognizing an accessory of a portable terminal are provided. The apparatus includes an interface unit in which the accessory is mounted, a power supply for supplying microphone bias power for recognizing the accessory in the interface unit, a current detector for determining an output current of the power supply, and a controller for determining whether the output current of the power supply exceeds a preset reference current when mounting of the accessory is sensed, and for recognizing a type of the accessory according to the output current of the power supply when the output current of the power supply exceeds the preset reference current. The apparatus may automatically recognize a type of an accessory connected with an interface unit to improve the convenience for a user.

Method and apparatus for recognizing accessory of portable terminal

A portable charging apparatus, charging method and system for charging a battery of a mobile communication terminal are provided. The portable charging apparatus includes a first Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface connected to an external charging device, a second USB interface connected to a mobile communication terminal, and a switch located between data lines for USB communication. The method includes determining whether the portable charging apparatus is connected to the external charging device, switching on the switch when the portable charging apparatus is not connected to the external charging device, and determining whether the portable charging apparatus is connected to the mobile communication terminal, and supplying electric power from an additional battery of the portable charging apparatus to the mobile communication terminal when the portable charging apparatus is connected to the mobile communication terminal.
